Great work, just like expected

A lot of work has gone into researching and collating the information contained in this book. The presentation is all very basic and arranged in a simple easy to read format. There are a couple of errors but that can be expected when compiling such a comprehensive volume. One example is the omission that Love's Unkind was covered in the UK by Sophie Lawrence who had a No 21 hit with her version in 1991. Another strange comment relates to the timeline of "The Hostage" being withdrawn in Germany after release when the Munich Olympics kidnap tragedy occurred. Problem is the Olympics were held 2 years before the record was released! Despite these minor gripes this is a valuable reference book and part of a series. Looking forward to a volume on Diana Ross

An informative book, charting the entry point, chart peak and fall out of the charts, of all of Donna Summer's Top 40 hits, both singles and albums in the major territories she conquered in her long career.It's a flashback to her modest start in the European charts, to world domination at the height of her Casablanca Records 70s disco era, to her somewhat subdued career post 70s, in the 80s with Geffen Records. A must for all diehard fans.

This is a great book but the biggest let down for me was it is in black and white.

A fascinating read, a lot of effort has gone into the research of this book.

Excellent comprehensive and well organised

Excellent gift

This book is a good companion to Donna's autobiography. Where I was expecting from her to reminisce and share details of each and every one of her albums. Time spent composing and choosing the songs to be included. Her personal opinion about the final product, the personal presentations to promote them, etc. Here author share some details about the album's and songs. Which can be found in Donna's autobiography. I always have a personal interest in knowing what's the story behind songs released by any singer or group.

Per sapere tutte le varie incisioni ufficiali e non della grandissima Donna Summer, per gli appassionati e anche per chi vuole approfondire le conoscenze musicali. Come al solito nulla da dire su Amazon: imballo, consegna, sicurezza, serietà....tutto positivo come al solito.
