I am really happy with this purchase. My biggest concern was that the first time a thunderstorm blew in with 50 mph (or more) wind gusts it would be done for, destroyed, or tear loose and end up in another zip code. We’ve had at least three big storms since installing, and it has held up really well, with no issues. My overall 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the lack of detailed installation instructions. If your DIY skill require specifics step by step instructions, be aware it’s not found here. There are a lot of web YouTube instructions you could use. A few suggestions for others who purchase:1) plan to leave plenty of space for the hardware you are using to install. You can add more hardware, spring links or chain, but you cannot easily move a post back further If you get it too close.2). If you are covering a patio or other rectangle be mindful that the edges of this shade sail are not straight, but are curved. You might consider a size slightly larger than your patio to ensure good shade coverage3) think about early morning it late evening sun angles. Consider getting a triangle or two as well to improve low angle shade.

It is not exactly the size that we needed, but we did not want to pay the astronomical price increase for a custom size, so we made this work! It looks great, blocks the sun, we can now enjoy our porch without being burned. It does NOT protect against rain FYI. But we are happy with the cost and would purchase again. Side note - it does NOT come with any hardware to hang, so we went to Home Depot and purchased a few items we thought would work and got it done.

This sun shade has been installed for about 3 weeks and has held up so for in our hot California heat and some rain. The sun shade is porous enough to let the rain seep through but not so porous that it streams through. The installation was straight forward and does a good job of keeping the sun at bay. Very happy with it so far.

while the color says red in the description, and when it arrived still in the bag, it looked red. However, when we opened up and unfolded it, it was definitely a reddish orange. I cannot comment on durability or whether it is water resistant because I Never installed it. I will say that the four grommeted ends did look very durable.

It looks durable and well sewn. We’ve had them up for about a month and they have withstood wind but we haven’t had rain. They provide just the right amount of shade for the things we need to cover in the side yard and just enough light that we still have happy Bougainvillea.

Beautiful colour, strong D links on the corners. Light strong and colourful.Lets the rain spray through which I wanted for the garden. Keeps the sun off which is great.Will see how it goes longer term.
