The outer shell is a cotton-polyester mix. With a satin-twill lining, in a light blue colour.At 5.3" this trench coat is long on me, from the hem to the floor there is a clearance of apx 16cm.The sleeves are also long which is great, as I thought they looked a little short on the model.The coat also has a rather long belt, at apx 175cm; I can wrap it around myself twice or attempt those fancy belt tying techniques. The belt also has a cleverly hidden fastening, which means the belt will never accidentally slide out of the loops.As for the hood, I would describe it as adequate. If you have lots of hair as I do, you'll need an umbrella if caught in a shower as it doesn't quite cover my head. However, if I'm feeling a bit noir I may just wear a scarf.All in all, I'm very happy with this coat as I wanted a maxi-length trench.
