The belt is 1& 1/4 inches wide, buckle is 1 &1/2 inches wide.

How wide is this belt?

1.25 inches seems right. it looks thinner than the picture right when you takw it out of the amazon packaging. on the side of women's belt. kinda disappointing

U.S. I would follow the suggested size up in the chart for your waist size. My fit was perfect as I ordered the next size up from my actual waist size. Hope this helps.
