Such a great hairclip. So sturdy and elegant. I have been using it everyday since I have gotten it and has not failed me since. Strongly made with a strong grip. I don't think this ever will break, not like a cheaply made one.

I really wanted this to be the clip for throwing all my hair up in one go. It looks beautiful, feels well made, and I was excited to finally try a metal one instead of the usual plastic. In reality it’s a bit smaller than I expected. I could tell just looking at it that it wasn’t going to hold all my hair, and once I tried it out, it confirmed that. My hair is very long (down to my waist) and thick, and it just doesn’t quite manage to hold all of it securely in one go. That said, it’s not a write-off at all. It grips well and stays in place when I use it for a half-up style or to hold part of my hair back. The spring has good tension and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to give up. It’s also comfortable to wear and doesn’t pull when taking it out. I do really like the design and it feels like something you can wear out rather than just around the house. So for long, thick hair, yes it could work but maybe not very thick and very long if you’re hoping to get everything up at once. I’ll still use it, just in a slightly different way than I’d planned.

I originally ordered this for a stocking filler for my daughter, but when it arrived I wanted it! Such brilliant quality. I have long wavy hair and works brilliantly for me. I had to order another one for my daughter! Great price for such a sturdy hair clip

This is a very good clip, it has a strong hold, looks nice and feels sturdy too.

This claw clip is really nice and looks great in your hair. I do think it's misleading in that it is marketed for thick hair - I think it is more suited to fine-medium straight hair. I have medium-thick curly hair (armpit length) and it is not quite big enough. I can just about put my hair up with it (absolutely fine on a half-up-half-down look though). So whilst I like it and use it, I will be getting a larger clip which would end up being my every day one!

Too small, doesn’t hold my hair at all. I guess it works only for short hair.

Really pretty! But a tad heavy, so it slumps down a bit. Might need to learn a new technique for it. If you're great with hair products, this one is probably worth buying.

This is a step up from the plastic clips I've used for most of my life. It seems very durable and holds my hair nicely. I would say that it might not be for someone with fine hair. It could slip through the hair easier since it's a bit heavier than the plastic clips. It's a very pretty claw clip and overall a great purchase for me!
