Great Performance, but Needs a 240V Circuit
We bought ChangBERT’s 1800W, 120V induction range a couple years ago, and it’s still our daily go-to, prefect size to fit our counter. This time around, we needed something with high power for boiling big pots of soup fast, so bought to their 3200W model. It comes with a plug that doesn’t fit the typical outlets in U.S. homes and apartments. Needs to set up your power supply because it requires a 250V circuit, which our restaurant installed it. I’ve always wanted more tactile buttons. I’m not a fan of those smooth touch controls, where you’re never sure if you pressed the right spot, or if you had oil on your fingers, or if it even registered. It’s something I’ve dealt with before. But these buttons? Ease of use. They stick up from the surface, so you can feel them without looking, and they make this “click” when you press them right. This should definitely be the standard for Pro-grade commercial products. Energy-saving, faster cooking, holds temp right where we need it, and neither the pot nor the cooktop gets as hot as a regular stovetop. We cook a lot in batches... soups, sauces. This induction cooktop handles that kind of volume fast. Fits the way we work.

Almost 6 months, still heats up fast and appears well made
Compared to my old 1800-watt, 110V cooktop, this induction cooktop feels so much sturdy after nearly six months of use. A quick wipe-down after cooking, and it’s as clean and shiny as new. The stainless steel still gleams, and the solid build makes me confident it’ll last for years. Last weekend, I made a big batch of marinara sauce for a family gathering. The 3200-watt power boiled the tomatoes in no time, and the temperature control let me simmer the sauce for hours,no burning, no sticking. Boiling water is so much faster on this 240V cooktop compared to the 110V one. Since I already had a 240V outlet at home, I could plug it in right away. For me, the extra power and faster cooking speed make a huge difference, especially when using heavy pots. It cost a bit more, but totally worth it.

Trusted brand, perfect that I have a 240V outlet
After using one of ChangBERT’s portable induction cooktops for a couple of years, and having it hold up through constant use, I didn’t hesitate to stick with the same brand when the 240V outlet by my old oven opened up. I’ve been wanting a high-power unit for homebrewing, and this one fits the job perfectly. As soon as I took it out of the box, it felt just as solid and well-built as I was expecting. It has a sturdy weight to it, handles heavy kettles without flexing or feeling fragile as well. Setting a full brew pot on it feels completely secure, which is something I absolutely need for brewing days. The 3200W power is a big upgrade, my wort hits a rolling boil much faster now, with zero struggle to maintain temp. Once it reaches the target, the temperature stays steady. Cleanup is quick too, even sticky drips wipe right off the glass. Really great value of money!

Solid item!
Using for 7 months now with no issues. Cannot beat the value. Compared to the old gas stove, I clearly prefer this one. When I first unboxed it, I was really impressed with the quality. It’s sturdy, made of high-quality stainless steel, not as bulky as I expected, and the weight is just right for easily moving it around, especially in areas where you need 208 or 240 voltage. Working with it is just like using a gas burner, with a simple front panel and responsive buttons. It heats up quickly and evenly, which is especially useful when cooking indoors during bad weather. Even if it’s windy outside, I don’t face the same problems I had with the gas burner. Now, I just hope it lasts a long time!

6 inch heating zone ok if only boiling water
Solid feel. Boils water quickly. I purchased it so I could use my 10 inch skillet, but it doesn't heat enough of the skillet to be useful. It also cycles off and on at low heat settings rather than providing constant heat. When sautéing the ring of heat is too hot and the outside of the skillet is cool.

Impressive, Effective, Reliable
I had previously bought a very expensive induction cooktop; it cost $1500. Compared to the ChangBERT Induction Cooktop, they both are Commercial cooktops and have great features: stainless steel, German Schott glass, and NSF marking. Both professional cooktops are very powerful; they boil water quickly and sautées food much faster than a gas cooktop. They both have big-enough space for oversize pots and pans. However, one tiny complaint about my previous expensive cooktop is: the buttons are over-sensitive. If there is any sauce spilled over, the buttons will go crazy. I need to turn it off, and clean the sauce, to fix it. When I rethink, both professional cooktops have similar features and functions, my previous one costs $1500 and the ChangBERT Induction Cooktop costs $339.99. The choice is clear to me and I wish I had bought the ChangBERT first!

We just bought this unit to use in our commercial space and are now having issues with the unit in just 3 months. Quality of our product may have been defective. **Update** After some back and forth emailing. I wanted to change my review to a 5 star. Although unfortunate the larger capacity cook top wasn't able to meet our needs. They have excellent customer service and care. I was able to get a full refund for my equipment and will definetly still recommend anyone who purchases to have peace of mind as they will honor their warranty. Thank you Wing, for your excellent service and help. We look forward to using your little brother model induction cooktop for many years to come. Bee The BanhMi
