"YOU CAN'T TAKE THE MUSIC FROM THE COMPOSER"!
Ancient roadways overlooking hills dipping into the Mediterranean, sirens leading into the very arteries of the City, you can remove the man, but never erase the history.

excellent
The 1969 film Z is about political unrest in Greece, back when socialist, racial and youth movements were trying to topple the old order all around the world. The Paris student riots, Prague Spring, The Summer Of Love. The soundtrack itself is a mix of Greek music, semi-classical, and film rock--the background sounds you heard in clubs and on "radio" during this era in film.Z itself is a film worth seeing, but this score stands well as music, and if you have no interest in seeing this film, or in what may have been the most volatile politics in the modern era, you should still check out this album strictly for its unique take on Greek and compositional musical style.
