The Dreaming Vol. 3: One Magical Movement
Wan, the AI now in control of the Dreaming, can not progress beyond its programming and, as the Dreaming begins to dissolve, Abel and the other servants mount an impossible rescue of all that they hold dear.A fitting conclusion to this 'Sandman' spinoff. The artwork and layout are superb and the story concludes satisfactorily in the only way unimaginable.

A Great Conclusion to “The Dreaming”!
“The Dreaming, Volume Three: One Magical Movement” collects “The Dreaming” #13–20 written by Simon Spurrier with art by Bilquis Evely, Marguerite Sauvage, Dani, and Matías Bergara, colors by Mat Lopes and Marguerite Sauvage, and letters by Simon Bowland. While Wan continues to take control of the Dreaming, Dora learns the truth of her past as well as Wan’s origins. Matthew the Raven, at the behest of Abel, surveys the damage in the real world from Wan’s reprograming of dreams. The story builds to a suitably epic conclusion featuring a cameo from Death. Bilquis Evely’s artwork and Mat Lopes’s colors are absolutely stunning and the perfect depiction of the Dreaming. Spurrier’s story brilliantly continues the work Terry LaBan and Caitlín R. Kiernan began in their original volumes of “The Dreaming” during the 1990s, which in turn built upon Neil Gaiman’s work from “The Sandman.” A great story for fans looking to read more stories set in Gaiman’s “Sandman” Universe.

Incredible follow up to The Sandman
Spurrier is becoming another one of my favorite original writers over the last few years. His world building is incredible and he's always able to take these epic stories that don't take too long. Read Coda if you'd like an example but honestly all his one shots are gold. Even still I was skeptical anyone could follow up the Sandman. Which to this day is still my favorite comic series. So pleasantly surprised he picks up the mantle with his own style. The only negative I have is that reading the Original is a must before starting this story.
