Thick and Course Hair
I'm a 4C girl with thick hair. I put this detangling brush to the test today. Just say it cut ny wash and de tangling time in half and without the pain of pulling and tugging on my hair. I must say I'm delighted to have made this purchase.

Good in an unexpected way
My hair is an incredibly thick and long combination of 3c/4a textures- and ultimately it wasn’t a great detangling brush for me. I like to detangle in the shower on wet hair and while it’s a great scalp massager, the flexibility meant that it couldn’t pass all of the way through without missing large sections. I typically separate my hair into four sections and brush it through and the denman brush (and knockoffs lol) work much better for me. HOWEVER, what this brush is great for is blow drying. It performs better is small sections but still cuts my drying time down tremendously since air can pass through the brush. So, I’ll keep it! But only for blowdrying.

I decided to purchase this product for my Great Pyrenees dogs because I needed something to comb through the hair without hurting them by pulling or damaging the skin underneath the coat. It works brilliantly. It cuts right through the tangles, knocks out any grass, leaves, etc. from the coat and they love it. They do not pull away at all, in fact they sit quite still and find the experience soothing. I know this may not be intended for use on animals, but it works like a charm and it is pain free grooming for my pups. I am very pleased with this product.
