After 3+ months of wearing several different types of popular face masks RE: COVID-19, I looked into this type of covering because I wear glasses and those other masks steamed up my glasses (every breath) and my face was constantly wet from the moisture trapped inside the mask.I just got this SAAKA Sunguard face mask last night and have worn it all day today at work. I liked that this face mask/neck gaiter is VERY light weight AND breathable.. I had it on for over 1 hour in the doctor's office and had no problem with moisture on my cheeks, or my glasses fogging (not once) - the warm breath just passed through the material.I like that you can adjust the tightness of the face mask with the drawstring and then drop it down without having to reset the tightness... AND an unexpected PLUS was that it is sooooo lightweight that I didn't mind it around my neck, not did I get hot b/c it was around my neck all day.I had looked at a similar product but the reviews mentioned the stitching on the cord's hem seam was very rough and left rigid marks on their face... That did not happen with the SAAKA face mask.... That was the 3rd deciding factor why I spent the extra money. I just ordered another for myself and one for my husband.NOTE: I paid for this item and did not receive any compensation for this review.

I give it a "meh'. Its ok. Some people will like it but I'm still looking for something better. I bought it hoping to replace a mask. Of course it will do nothing to stop the Vid but any piece of fabric will keep the flock from freaking out.Comfort: on the face, better than a mask. No pinch behind the ears. But then you have a bunch of unnecessary fabric on your neck, so it's a trade off.Breathing: About the same as your typical blue mask, nothing great in 90 degree heat.Not as good as it seems: it does have a shaped area for your eyes/nose, but it's hard to find the exact center when looking down your face. I think I prefer no cutouts.Facial hair: whiskers stick out through it and it looks ridiculous lol. Same thing with a different brand though. This is a good reason to have a distracting design rather than a solid color.Value: I bought a different one for $9 and feel it's pretty much identical. I would not purchase this again, but I guess I can't send it back with my germs all over it.All I can recommend is that if you buy anything similar to this, get one with a draw string. At least that part is better than not having one. Other than that, I have found nothing truly comfortable to wear all day at work and my search continues.

Great GREAT mask. I’m in the restaurant business, talking to people through the traditional masks muffles my voice. This is breathable, adjustable (double plus) and comfortable. Customers can hear me perfectly fine now.The adjustability factor is huge, I’m Korean so my nose bridge is nonexistent. Getting other neck gaiters to stay on my nose without falling down my face was getting exhausting. This can be positioned where it’s tight enough to stay put but not so tight my checks are pouring over the top lmao. I’ve machine washed it many many times and it’s still in great shape. This is also so easy to put over my head, like I said I’ve had others that ruined my makeup or suffocated me trying to get over my big head to put it on. Clearly I love the product, just get it!

This is a nice face shield. It does not cause my face and chin to burn and itch. Other masks are unbearable next to my skin. This doe not cause face irritation.Only complaint is that it slips down. I wish it had ear holes to keep it in place. I am considering cutting out holes for my ears. I hope it won't get ruined. They provide a built in toggle, but I don't like the pressure against my nose. And there are no instructions on how to use it.

Easy to pull up and/or down. Soft and comfortable for me. Only a single layer, but this lets me breathe so I'm OK with that, not ideal but the best I've found for myself. It works better than most of the cloth masks I've tried, I can tell because it gets wet so fast from my breathing, and that's the whole point I think, for COVID anyway, to catch the water droplets from my breathing. I don't wear it for warmth or for the sun.

Really love the quality of the materials used with this gaiter; very soft to wear, and it feels very durable. It also absorbs a good amount of sweat. Need to use it longer to see if my sweat stinks it up at all, but so far it has been pretty breathable and not smelly after use. Been using it around my neck with a hat and sunglasses on, which has helped me cut back on the amount of sunscreen I need to apply. Definitely would love to see some new colors released, these would make great gifts!!

These neck gaiters are the best I've found so far. They feel cool in the hot, humid weather (upper 90's here). Since masks are mandated here in my state, these are perfect. You can breathe through them enough to use for long periods without feeling like you are going to pass out. They are also adjustable so they fit well on even my 8 year old! The customer service is great, too!

A friend of mine who is very outdoorsy recommended Saaka to me. I was already thinking about getting a similar product but he sworn saaka has a better one. He was totally right. This mask was affordable and shipped fast. It is very light and breathable. I got this to protect my neck from sun burn but it also doubles as a mask during these Covid times. I highly recommend this mask for many purposes.
