It’s decent
I bought a size medium for my Aussie/healer mix, he’s about 45lbs but I expect him to drop weight this summer as he usually does. He’s lost some weight since having this and I’ve had to tighten it which is good because I couldn’t loosen it anymore when we first got it. I put this on him whenever we walk or go to the dog park. I’m training him for hiking this summer so I put little water bottles in each satchel, a water bowl and his ball which would be what he would carry anyway. He runs with this just fine and he will sprint in it with no issues. The seams on one of the satchels is coming apart so I’m not sure the quality is tough enough for what we need.

Works Great
Used this on our weekend hiking trip so dogs could hold their own water. We have a 55 lb shepherd mix and bought the Large. Fit perfect. The straps we're confusing to get on at first, but it's remedied by unbuckling only one side when removing. It did slightly slide to one side even when balanced. As it was always the same side, it was remedied with counterbalancing. It did not rub our dog at all and the straps along his underbelly did not interfere with him peeing which was great! We did 15+ miles with multiple river crossings and it did pop a few stitches. The other brand we got had Velcro to remove the packs, leaving a little vest and I do like that design a lot more as that was way more convenient for breaks. This pack had to be completely removed

Product Needs Smaller Options
I purchased this because I live in an earthquake-prone area & I'm preparing for the Big One for which we are very overdue.I live alone with a small 11-lb dog in a 3rd floor apartment with only one window & no fire escape. In trying to anticipate emergency situations, I decided to look for something that would allow my dog to carry her own necessities & allow me to pick her up or hoist her down by a handle along the back of a harness; it needs to lift her both front & back as well as around her middle. This item looked to be just the thing. It arrived quickly & I opened the package to examine it. The photos online SUGGESTED there would be enough support for lifting/carrying a small dog, but were not clear; I was relieved to find they provide exactly the kind of support I hoped for: 3 adjustable straps with belt clips & the front padded as well as providing neck adjustment. Perfect! So next, I shortened everything adjustable, to check fit on my dog. I have learned through experience that sizing for pets is not standardized, nor has it been reconciled to weight/volume measurements. You'd think an 11- or 12-lb dog is a size small, but my previous 12-lb dog was shorter along the back & larger in the chest than my current 11-lb dog. They each vary in sweater/harness size from XSM to MD, depending on cut & brand. So I never know without trying the specific item on the specific dog.So, trying this SM harness/saddlebag item on the dog it was purchased to fit, with all straps pulled to tightest fit...I find it's too big. Seriously. The back strap just fit at its tightest adjustment, but all others are at minimum 2" too long.I did check lifting function, & it does work; it will comfortably allow me to lift, carry, or lower down (secured to a rope) my dog with her being comfortable, but it would work better if it actually fit. And not fitting means it would slide sideways & drag if she tried to walk with this on & filled. The length is fine; it perfectly fits my dog's length, neither too long nor too short. The saddlebags are generous, so should carry 5 days of dry food, a collapsible silicone bowl or two, a water bottle, even a thick sweater for her. A shame I cannot slap it on her as is & it be secure on her back. The item appears sturdy & well-made, & obviously a lot of thought went into it. I would advise Wellver to manufacture XSM versions of it; they would sell a LOT of them to the populous West Coast, many being tiny dog owners. They would be of use to those preparing for earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, floods, & wildfires. People would buy them to take their pups along on recreational excursions, like hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, boating, maybe even rock climbing. Travel would be easier, having a handle to carry your pet & having pet supplies on the pet's back. Before long, it would be as ubiquitous, as staple a pet item, as a leash or sweater. Big BUCK$ to be made there. Make some XSM versions, Wellver. And send me one.So for now, I'm keeping this one, but will attempt to cut & re-sew all overlong straps shorter. Except for the strap lengths, it's perfect for my use. Also, as advice for those with larger dogs: This is a good product & will work great as a harness & as a backpack for your dog. But don't try to lift the dog by the handle on the back; likely your dog's weight will make the action severely uncomfortable for your dog. Lifting is not an intended purpose, though it does generally work for small dogs. So, good price, arrived quickly, well-manufactured, generous saddlebags, but watch the fit.

Great little bag
I love this little bag. It's perfect for my dog. It holds all her stuff for day or weekend trips and she loves carrying it. She is extremely excitable and I thought with three straps I was going to have issues convincing her to get into it. It's actually extremely simple to put on and the three straps are great for distributing the weight so she doesn't have issues with it rubbing or pulling her down. The mesh keeps her ventilated and cool. I really don't have a lot of complaints except that the straps are a bit long, but it gives her room to grow and they can be tucked away. For the price, it's hard to beat!

Medium size for my 30lb dog, maybe go smaller.
I really love this product! It fits my pup pretty well, but I think it is a tad bit big on him. He is about 30 lbs and this is him wearing the medium with all of the straps tightened. If I got the small it would probably sit higher on his back and not slide back. Otherwise this thing is great! My pup did great with it on and he seemed really comfortable with it on. There are a lot of straps to ensure it doesn't slide left or right on their back, obviously a little balancing of items in the bag is necessary. This bag definitely gives my pup a sense of purpose. He does pretty well on the leash, but with this bag on he was even greater! He was very focused on balancing his goods. HAhahaAll in all, I recommend this. Look how cute he is~!?!?!?

Well worth it for the Price! Only a few downsides.
I have to say I absolutely loved how handy this pack was for our trip. He held his bowls and a little bit of food and water. Didn’t bother him or slow him down any. We were in terrain where he had to jump over downed trees and go under them and crawl up rocks and the mountain side, and it held up during all of it. The cons would be I could easily see the stitching isn’t the greatest and wouldn’t last with hard Or a lot of use, but for the price and the overall handiness of it, I’d just order another one. It kept sliding off to a side a little. But I easily readjusted it when that occurred no problem. I ordered a medium for him and he’s about 35/40lbs and it was a perfect fit. Well worth it for its price! If it wasn’t for the sliding off to the side and lower quality stitching, it would be 5 stars hands down.

Scam
I ordered the large for my Labrador and it's not adjustable it collapses either one side or the other. Zipper broke when tried to put it in doggy bags inside. Fastening belt are losing hanging not comfortable for my dog. Scam
