Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I opted for the Used like new to save a few bucks.. I almost sent it back because it was not in like new condition!! It was dry and rusty .. Luckily I have brought back some in worse condition.. I scrubbed it really good and reseasoned it and it looks pretty good now. Still not 100% liking the bottom on the inside.. Half of it is still really dry looking.. I may have to grind and resurface it.. Other than that it is a great small Dutch oven, perfect for two people.. best part is the lid fits a small skillet I just got too..

This is not a large item.

I've hesitated before to use a "normal" sized Dutch oven when it's just the two of us to cook supper and I either don't have enough to make a big batch or for some other reason just don't want leftovers. This 2 quart DO does the trick beautifully. As for the quality of the pot itself, it is as good of a pot as one can find these days. It is pre-seasoned and has the rough texture to the casting, but they pretty much all do any more, so that said, I was impressed by the applied pre-seasoning and its ability to make the bottom of the pot nonstick. It handled anything from wet raw ground beef one night, to reheating smoked chicken legs the next night, all without any undue sticking and scraping. Cleanup involved nothing more than warm water in it when it cooled off enough to be able to handle barehanded and a nylon dish brush, followed by a green scrubby sponge and rinsing until the rinse water came out clean. About 3 rinses. So, zero aggravation on the cleaning process---factory pre-season did its job very well! I've used it twice since getting it, and while the texture of the inside is pretty rough, it does clean up easily and with time and use, I'm sure it'll smooth out a bit. Thinking about getting one or two more to stash and use as birthday gifts for family members.

Equal to lodge at about half the price or less. Lids are not absolutely perfect but its a cast ironpot not a pressure canner. Not fond of the ridge on the bottom with the logo but hey i can grind that off . Or leave it no big deal i bought two bi accident and liked them both well enough to keep both . And will probably order a few other sizes no they are not as good as my old high dollar cast iron. I collect. However for what i want they do fine . Including cooking on my woodcook stove .

Perfect size for an RV oven. I just made the best pulled pork in it. Fantastic. Sized for two people.

It’s a perfect size. It is new, in wonderful condition. It will meet all my needs. I am very happy with this purchase and it was a great price.

Fits in the Coleman Camping Oven, great for 2 people (8 inches across size). Seams well made. If I had to purchase again I would get the footed one to use with other camp fires and stacking dutch ovens.

Absolutely love this Dutch oven will be buying one more cooks to perfection looks great cleans easily perfect size looking forward to taking in my campervan and using it on the fire A☆ would definitely recommend

Great little pot, use it so much while camping

Bought it to go with my retro camping gear . Lightweight enought for moderate backpacking adventures . Cant wait to get to my favourite spot and cook over an open fire in the fresh air
