Fishing Shirts for Men Long Sleeve - Sun Protection SPF 50+ UV Tshirt Hoodies

I wanted thin and cool for a third layer with a hood for walking/jogging.I think the fit is good. I'm 6'0" tall, 225 lbs, built a little longer in the torso than legs. I wear a 2XL (XXL), although I usually wear XL t-shirt underneath and in layers when it's cold.I daily walk/jog (2½ to 5 mi) and bike (12-24 mi) in temperatures ranging from 35-85°F with winds in the 2-16 MPH range.It is very comfortable. I wash the shirt once in cold water with a mild laundry detergent, no bleach or fabric softener, and I let it air dry on a hanger overnight. No shrinkage. No deformations. I would guess that a heated, tumbling dryer would affect the size and shape.Issues for me:I wish it had a pull string for the hood. The average winds of 8-12 mph in southwest Ohio blow off the hood easily, even while I'm just walking.I wear this shirt untucked, so it won't come untucked. It could be a little longer in the torso. Other t-shirt(s) that I wear as layers underneath are longer in the torso, so the other shirt(s) hang below this hoodie. Not a big problem. I just have that layered look - not that I worry about coordinating colors.The thumb holes are small, and combined with the sleeve length, putting my thumbs in the holes stretches the sleeves tighter than I want. It also feels as if regularly using the thumb holes will quickly wear out the stitching.Update: the thumb holes are holding up nicely after several months. I now own 4 of these shirts, rotating them daily so none gets worn out quickly.A front pocket pouch would be nice to have, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Even better if it had a sealing (zipper or velcro) pouch to hold my phone. If you're a designer making changes based on comments, I suggest finding the biggest mobile phone available and making sure it fits. Some pockets are designed for smaller iPhones that don't fit my Galaxy S9+.I did not look for a pull string or pocket pouch/hand warmer before buying this shirt, so I can't really expect it to have those features or complain about not having them.I do like the reflective stripes on the back. They're not loud, obnoxious patterns or colors, but they will clearly reflect light in low-light conditions. Having reflective material on the back at waist height is a nice safety feature.

I suppose you can use this for fishing haha! I think they're advertising to the wrong people though. I work outside at the landfill in Arizona and put this thing through hell for 8 hour work shifts, it's the best safety work shirt I have ever had and my coworkers are a jealous. 115 degrees, covered in mud and completely rigorous construction type activities that destroy all of the other shirts. But not this shirt, this shirt is tough. It's also bright orange so it passes perfectly as safety orange. I bought like 4 different brands, and all of the other brands were advertised as safety work shirts. Go figure it's the "fishing" shirt that does the best. It even has optional thumb holes that I actually use occasionally, and the hood is perfect also. Well done.

Search for fishing shirt and you get a bunch of results of what looks like the same shirt from a bevy of different sellers.Of course they all have 4-5 star reviews.I was originally going to get one from a different seller when this one showed up under related items.Started going through the options and noticed the black was available at a deeply discounted price so I decided to go with that as a safe test purchase.So for under $10 you can’t really complain much. The fabric does feel the same as my name brand performance shirts. Obviously have no real way of testing the UV blocking capabilities.Fitwise as others have mentioned it’s best to size up. I’m 5’9 185lbs and usually wear a large. XL fits perfectly around the chest and shoulders. A bit looser around the waist but not too bad.Hood fits fine.Now one of the features that drew me to these shirts was the thumb hole. It’s a useful feature when trying to keep your hand and arm covered when there are tons of biting insects around.Unfortunately that’s where the shirt fails the most. Slightly wavy, uneven stitching for this price I can accept.But the thumb hole is placed on the sleeve seam in an effort to keep things simpler and cheaper. The seam faces down which means in order to get it on your thumb you have to twist the sleeve which puts tension on the arm.It works better as a pinky hole which obviously isn’t the desired result.For under $10 not bad. At the regular prices I might try one of the other brands.

I'm a regular 2XL a stocky person. I recieved 2XL and it was a little tight everywhere ordered a 3XL of same item and it fit just the way I want. For someone 2XL with a little thickness around the waist 3XL will probably be a better fit. Nice item. I'm football fan and 6 hours in the cold being prepared is part of the experience

The UV blocking made a remarkable difference while in direct sunlight. The quality of the material was good and I normally wear a Large t-shirt and the large Fishing Shirts for Men Long Sleeve - Sun Protection SPF 50+ UV Tshirt (WHITE) fit comfortably and was a little loose which is what I prefer. Get ready for a cooling effect when stepping in to a shaded area! This shirt performed so well that I eventually purchased several others locally (lower price, big-box store had some on sale). I would definitely order this product again. Note: if you work outside in the direct sunlight this shirt will make a huge difference on the amount of heat you feel on your skin if worn properly.

I am a women in a size 2x and this shirt fit a little big but it was perfect.. I wore this shirt fishing one HOT Maryland day and I felt like I was wearing an air condition all day long. I was really concerned about it being long sleeved and the heat of all day that I would burn up but, it was really comfortable. Because this is a men's shirt the sleeves were a little long and the length was a little long. I needed the comfort of the cooling not the comfort of sleeves or torso.Great shirt I will be buying another color. This has been one of my best purchases.

Product and delivery as expected. Quality of the item could be improved. It won't last very long... That's why it is cheap!

Very comfortable even in scorching hot weather with hood on. Suitable for long walks/waiting in sun. Very satisfied.
