I order these USB C keystones because I am always working near my server rack and this is very convenient to have 2-3 of these in the patch panel and be able to charge a phone or usb powered camea . I don't know why I waited so long to install these.

These couplers do not carry over data. Tried multiple cables, and my devices were only recognized when directly connected to the host.

I planned on using for my external hard drive. Just to try, I connected one side to my Samsung super fast charger and the other to my S20U 5G. Sure enough, they support the charging speed.

Got these to use as a pass through for charging at my night stand. After getting installed and plugged in the wall adapter inside my nightstand and plugging a device in on the outside, it is directional. So other than you needing to pay attention to what way your cable is being plugged in, it works.

I have a monitor that accepts usb c as an input type, this has the added benefit of charging and displaying video with one cord. I tried using this adapter to hook two cables together with my wall mounted monitor and it did not work at first. I was about to write it off entirely but then thought of trying to flipping the direction the cables are getting plugged in and eventually got audio/video/charging all working with the same cord.Dropping a star since I have to make sure I'm plugging my cable in the right direction.

Was using these to pass USBC through a wall. One keystone in each wallplate. Attempted to upgrade wallplates, and removed one without issue. The other, snapped in half ripping the soldering off of the cable making the jack inoperable.Also, as other reviews say it is only one direction on how the cables get plugged in which makes USBC useless. Honestly with the speed specs I'd just stick with USB-A or just run brushless wallplates instead.
