Works Great!
I use these with three of my guitars, 2 in Taylor brand gig bags, and one in a hard case. One of the gig bagged ones travels with me to work every day as a trucker. I’m currently about a month in and the packs are holding up well!

My third purchase (which is a good thing)
This is the third set of Boveda products that I have purchased for the many musicians in the family. Everyone has been pleased with the product. Instructions are clear, and sets are bundled in such a way that more than one instrument can be covered (at least with this version, anyway). It's good extra insurance in dry, dry Colorado for winter, especially.

It seems to work as advertised
My experience with this product is that it is keeping the inside of my acoustic guitar case at 49-50% humidity. I’ve been using the Music Nomad hygrometer to measure the level. At first it was reading 45% humidity but has settled at the 49-50% range after being in the case about a week. I have used other more traditional humidifiers for a long time. I bought the Music Nomad product with the humidifier sponge and hygrometer which is nice. The problem is that the case could get to 60% humidity or slightly above sometimes. I know that’s at the top of the safe level, but I think acoustics sound better when they’re dried out. I like the 49% level for that reason, at least it’s somewhat dry and safe. Plus, it really is nice to not have to think about wetting a sponge. The similar D’Addario product works well too. This Boveda product has more quality holders for the humdipaks. Plus the refills are slightly cheaper. I see no worry with these breaking inside the guitar as long as you’re careful. Boveda states that the carriers would hold the liquid if it did happen to break. Overall I think this is probably the best guitar humidification system.

Easy to use and convenient
I’m a performing guitarist. At home, my guitars live in a temperature and humidity controlled cabinet. However, I keep a guitar at one of my regular weekly gigs and need to keep the humidity under control in its case. This system takes the worry out of that.

This is a must
D Addario makes a similar product, if not the same. This is a better value because it services 2 instruments. I believe the D Addario only services - 1 instrument, and it is definitely more. Boveda maintains cigar humidors to a T. That is why I chose this product.

Useful for musicians living in dry climates
While I love living in a place with low humidity, my almost 90-year-old bassoon does not. I’ve used this in my case for about 2 years, and it’s made a tremendous difference in how consistently my bassoon plays. I use the humidor bag and 72% humidity packs for my reeds as well. Highly recommended!!!

Doesn't seem to do anything really?
I bought the suggested 49% combo kit along with the starter kit for my Martin guitar. I got 12 extra humidifier packets and the digital humidifier reader.I put the pouches in the guitar case one under the neck two in the sound hole and closed the lid. It's been about 2 weeks now. I take a peak every couple days to see what the meter is reading and see if they're working. It finally went from 39% to 40% after about 2 weeks.I live in a very mild climate the North East. I was curious what the the room humidity was outside of the guitar case so i took it out and sat it on top of the case for a couple minutes and it went up to 43%. What in the world?Maybe i should leave the guitar case open and not use the packets because it's closer to 49% without using them. I feel like i wasted my money and these things aren't doing anything. Why is it drier inside my guitar case using these than inside my house? I dunno but i got about 2 more years worth of packets. Feel like i got bamboozled.Edit: I changed my review from 1-3 stars because Boveda refunded me on my order. It's been several more days and the humidity meter is up to 42% inside my guitar case but it's 43% in my house without the packets. I'm still not sure if these things actually work or not but they were fair to me so i will be fair to them. Customer service seems to be good.

Good product, pricey if you have multiple instruments
These boveda packs are great. Work right out of the box, don't require any charging and are essentially dummy proof. They seem to contain a gel material within a coated paper ? pouch. The paper material definitely. The paper pouches make me a little nervous, because if they tear, leak, etc., they would spill wet jelly on/in the instrument, depending on where you have them placed. The cloth boveda pack holder alleviates this worry a little.. but it is essentially also just a cloth pouch that they (very loosely) slip into. The pouch is loose enough that I'd be a little wary of putting pouches I side a sound hole, if you're humidifying from inside out.. but otherwise I think they are reasonably secure. All in all a good product, other than being on the pricey side. Apparently these can also be recharged though if you do a little due diligence.

Muy bueno, muy caro.
Va muy bien para controlar la sequedad y la humedad de los instrumentos, pero es muy caro. Sale mejor comprar los repuestos ya que la bolsita de tela no es necesaria. Se pueden poner los sobres sin bolsa.

Mah... A crederci... Forse funziona
Suggerimento... Risparmiate i soldi

They Do Exactly What they're Meant to do.
I installed these for my new luthier made classical guitar. They keep our high humidity at bay and, I would definitely buy them again. Very good product.
