Sea to Summit Traveller Soft Rack Foam Roof Rack, Regular

Very easy to use Soft rack for my 20ft long Epic V10 Sport Surfski. Works very well even up to speeds in excess of 80mph, with little sideways movement due to the multiple connections points. The Velcro as mentioned before in previous reviews is a non issue because it is directly attached to the strap that is going through the car. The Velcro is there to help you get the perfect connection points. Once tightened down to the car, there is no way to move it. The only issue I have is getting the actually roof rack tight enough. The surfski seems to bounce up and down a little when hitting bumps, but it seems that the rack itself is lifting off the car and not the surfski. Not sure if it is causing adding stress to the ski, only time will tell. Ultimately this is a great way to transport your recreational toy. Highly recommend.

I've used this all summer and winter, whether carrying a kayak on my hybrid or a couple snowboards, it has been so helpful! Foam is firm and compresses only slightly, even with a 9 foot kayak on board. I always feel like the load is secure with this soft rack. No obvious signs of wear after near daily use! One tip, make sure to take the rack off if rain or snow is planned, the straps tend to wick water in through the car and can leave your upholstery a bit soggy :)

These are great!!! I couldnt find any hard ones to fit on my Suzuki so I went with these! I am glad I did.easy to install and many tie down points!

For the price, this rack is awesome. So quick and easy to install and I feel confident that my kayak is secured when going 70mpg on the freeway. My only regret is that I bought the small instead of the large.

I LOVE this rack. I have used it for my stand up paddle board, my Hobie tandem kayak,and even used it to bring home my Christmas tree! I leave it in my trunk and it is ready tobe used in a moment's notice! It takes no time to set up, and it is very secure!

The Sea to Summit Traveler Soft Rack is an excellent, well made, and very effective solution for carrier a kayak bottom up. Works great. This product is far superior to the cheap over priced foam block solutions. The materials, stitching, and buckles are excellent which should result in long product life.

Quite simple to fit, remember to fit with doors open not windows only open!! With 14' Kayak loaded little room to spare between car roof and kayak so load boat inverted, when strapped up tightly car roof depresses alarmingly but it all springs back OK. For an early start I put kayak on roof overnight, it rained and on getting into car in the morning found seats damp due rain tracking down webbing and dripping onto seats.Once strapped on and with a bow line fixed the boat seems rock solid although only been up to about 60mph no problems experiencedAdvisable to clean roof before attaching racks and put a towel across the roof when loading to prevent boat scuffing paintwork.Car Used Ford Fiesta '59

I ordered this product to transport my slalom kayak and to save me from buying a roof rack for my car as I have a company car which I change every 4 years, so I didn't want to have to buy a new roof rack every time I change my car.This seemed the ideal solution but I must admit I was sceptical that this was to good to be true. I have now used this for my kayak and it's was very secure on the roof. I drive on the motorway and driving at motorway speeds did not seem to affect it.This is a great product and well worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone.
