Easy To Read: Washington State Map

We took a trip to Montana and some areas had no signal that means no navigation on our smartphones. The paper maps were great for finding our way around.

Overall, this is a good, functional road map, though at times distances between points are hard to calculate because it can be difficult to figure out where each endpoint is. Note that this map is in two "halves," with the northern half of the state being on one side of the map, and the southern half of the state being on the other side. While this allows the map to be larger and definitely gives you increased detail, it can also make it difficult or inconvenient to read the map when you move from north to south or vice versa. On the plus side, did not find any error in the map information.

My only sadness comes from - not being able to get it in a foldable waterproof product. Waxed or laminated. If my life depends on the information included in this map. I need to be able to rely upon it in an emergency. To be able to so - I need it to be available in ALL circumstances - the - waterproofing.is paramount.

This is a great, detailed map, except it is not all on one side. Western Washington on front, and Eastern Washington on the back...so, for instance, if you want to do the mountain loop from Highway 20 to Leavenworth, Wenatchee to Highway 2 you can't see the trip as a whole...so if you're doing only backyard travelling, this is the map for you.

No joke. Although my 2016 has a nice lady that talks to me and tells me when to turn she sometimes gets confused herself. Then I pull over shake out my trusty paper map and get both of us unlost and on the road again. Never travel with out a REAL map.

Great to have encase of emergency. Easy to read, has all main freeways/highways and main roads, but don't expect every dirt road to appear on this map. Good price and quality, as pictured. A little thicker when folded than I imagined but it is a pretty big decent map for the price.

It is fine for quick reference, has more info than expected but does lack in some smaller details. Good along with my topo maps. Very worthwhile.

Adventure away in a clear and readable way. The map is large and text easy to read, nice when conserving battery life on electronics for photos and videos and you want to find your way a different way.

For some reason it is always hard to find road maps in America so I always buy in advance. This map was perfectly adequate for our holiday showing everything we needed. It is a normal map, not one of the plastic coated ones, so needs to be handled fairly carefully but that wasn't a problem and after using it for the holiday it is still in good condition and ready to use again

Having always used AAA maps in the past, we recently went over to the Rand McNally Easy to Read series. They really are what they say they are, with lots of extra information.

We used this map for our entire 3week trip.....it delivered everything it said it would! Not much else I can add....it's a Rand product...quality and clarity as expected.

The map was everything I needed to find my way around the state of Washington. Would recommend this to all who don't want to use sat nav or want a bit more than sat nav can offer!

Maps are unusable in conjunction with other maps by the same Ran McNally "easy to read" maps. Terrible for route planning.
