I fell in love with this hard when I saw it. My kitchen is accented with yellow everything, so I thought this would be perfect. And it would have been - except it is HUGE. Wayyyy bigger than I expected. I saw the measurements, but I just didn’t fully understand how big it would actually be. I could see this fitting 4 sticks of butter in it. If it were half the size, I’d love it to pieces. However, because of its size, I’m going to have to return it (which makes me so, so, so sad!) But it seems high quality, the finish is nice, love the burned “butter” wording on the top, the rubber seal is removable for cleaning... overall, I LOVE this. I just hate its size. Consider making/selling a smaller one please :-)

Arrived as advertised. Immediately filled it with yummy butter. How did I lived without this cute butter dish? This wonderful butter dish has made butter a bigger part of my life. I never considered butter to be a thing. Now I can't stop thinking about butter in the beautiful butter dish. Sometimes I just take the butter dish out of the frig. and peek inside to see those 2 sticks just snuggled together.

The first one I received had missing letters in the B and the U with a sight crack in the wood. The picture is the replacement.This time letters at the end are missing and gasket. Got a refund and purchased a similar item for $6 at Walmart!!! If this item was $6, I maybe would take an imperfect item and try to make it better with my wood burner. But for $17 I expect a finished quality good. Especially when competitors are selling for way less!!!!

Really Beautiful and fun butter holder!. The color is quite beautiful, it reminds me of the ocean, it has a stunning blue/green mix. The porcelain tub is thick and has a nice weight to it. The seal around the lid works well but do not pick it up by the lid, it will not hold the weight of the porcelain holder. It will hold 2 sticks of butter easily! I have the European style butter which fits perfectly! I keep mone in the refrigerator but it is also meant to kept on the countertop for room temperature butter. I really love this butter holder, it is CHARMING!

This thing is life changing. It’s cute to place on the counter and keeps two butter sticks at just the right temperature for spreading without spoiling. We use 2-3 sticks per month and have had no issues with the butter melting. It’s just perfect. I fully recommend this item. If tub butter with all of its additives just doesn’t do it for you, get one of these

My new butter dish arrived. I was so excited to unwrap it, wash it and put butter into it. It is gorgeous! The color is beyond description. It is described in the description very well.The walls of the dish are thick so it’s a heavy and sturdy piece. The wooden top fits nicely and looks so nice.I feel kind of silly getting so excited about a butter dish but I can’t help it, I love it. I recommend this butter dish highly.

I was so excited when this butter dish arrived that I rushed to use it right away.After excitedly texting my friend to show her my new treasure, she asked "Cool! What does it do?".I laughed and exclaimed, "it holds my butter! ".This is not a fancy dish w/ special features.This dish is exactly as it seems...a dish for butter.But what a dish!The color is gorgeous.It fits 2 sticks of butter or 1 Kerry Gold (butter lovers know what's up)The lid seals shut.And, I have perfectly spreadable butter for my morning toast :DI just love the simple things in life <3If you do too, then I recommend this little guy.

The porcelain is very nice and without flaws. The lid is quite nice too. Lettering is complete and the lid fits nicely.To the reviewers that mention the lid not staying on; I flipped the lid-gasket over so the two ribs are further away from the lid - and go further into the porcelain - this keeps the lid on nicely.Really glad we finally got this.

Such a lovely butter keeper, but.....does not hold a pound of butter without squishing the butter down with the lid, which makes a mess. Such a shame, as it is so pretty.

The actual product is no where near the same color. It’s not even a bit “teal” just straight up green. Very disappointed after waiting for so long I to now have to send it back because the photos do not reflect the product :(

I read some previous negative reviews with cracked lids or knicks in the wood, but mine was in perfect condition when it arrived. I really like it. It's so cute!

Honesty it is just a great looking piece
