THIS BOOK IS ABSOLUTELY EXHILARATING. I LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT I READ IT ABOUT SEVEN OR EIGBHT TIMES ALREADY! EVERY TIME I READ ABOUT THE PHONE CALLS THAT CLAUDIA AND KRISTY ALWAYS RECEIVE, A FRIGHTENED SHIVER RAN DOWN MY SPINE. IT WAS SCARY! So one sunny day, Kristy and Mary Anne and Stacey and Claudia (the members of the babysitters' club) sat around leisurely in the Thomas' backyard. They did not know what to do since they wanted to wolf down a delicious looking cookie plate but Stacey was diabetic. And when Stace suggested to head downtown to grab several bottles of coke( a diet coke for herself) they realized that Mary Anne's strict father would would faint after he knew. That was when a ear-piercing shriek left Mary Anne's mouth. She had read the spooky newspaper article about The Phantom Caller--pc for short. ANYWAYS, I AM NOT GONNA SPOIL THE MOST SPOOKY PART. THIS IS THE ENDING:(spoiler alert) Kristy's caller was goony, goofy Alan Gray. Claudia's was Trevor Sandbourne. They went to the Halloween Hop together. SO I LIKED THIS BOOK A LOT. My daughter started reading the new graphic novel version of these books, but reached the end of the available books. She doe enjoy the regular books, but not as much as the graphic novels. I think had she started with the regular books she'd be more engaged, but she's missing the colorful pictures and comic like styling.

I loved these books growing up, had all of them! I am now purchasing these for my daughters. They are enjoying these books! There are some journal letters written in cursive. So if your child can’t read cursive they may need you to read it to them. However, the cursive is very neat and easy for a child to figure it out. This is a skill that I want my girls to learn so I like the challenge for them.

I LOVE this book! (This is my daughter writing this) I love mystery stories and I love the babysitters club too! When my mom wasn’t able to find the second book she was able to find it on Amazon kindle and I think that was really amazing! I recommend this book to many kids who enjoy mystery books. Again this book is really amazing and I hope a lot of you read it too and love it!!

My 13 yr old loves to read this will add to her collection

Bought a few months ago for the niece's 8th birthday as my wife decided it was time for our niece to get exposed to one of her favorite childhood series, particularly with the empowered, young female and mature themes depicted through the series. The niece has appreciated the first few books thus far and my wife enjoy being able to connect her childhood to our niece's as well as looking forward to the influences she will be able to carry forward with her! And the graphic versions of these novels are a nice upgrade to more easily engage our little niece right off the bat!

Bought for our granddaughter who is 8 years old. She started reading one of the series at school just before the summer break and thoroughly enjoyed it. We purchased the first three books so that she could start at the beginning. She loves reading at night before going to sleep. These have great characters running through the series. It's also something she can share with her mum who can remember reading them when she was young.

I chose this book as a 5 star rating because it is awesome and no matter what it always left me on a cliff hanger If u read this book u will enjoy the adventure of Claudia Stacey marry Ann and of course Kristy. I find this book riviting and amazing I would defiantly recommend it
