These sound better than my MDR-7506s
initial impressions are as follows:- good build quality, considering the weight and density- pairing is easy. i think it's lame that theres no multipoint connections, but it's not that bad. it's the digital equivalent of unplugging your headphones from one device and into another. i thought i would mind more, but its fine.- sound quality is pretty much what i expected: a flat, balanced, neutral sound signature. there is an appropriate amount of bass and it is punchy with a bit of thump, but is not muddled or overpowering. mid range is excellent. high end is pretty smooth overall. (just to be clear, and address some other negative reviews, THESE HEADPHONES ARE PLENTY LOUD, AND HAVE PLENTY OF BASS RESPONSE, but if you want brain-shaking bass, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.) They sound considerably better than the 7506s i was using before- controls are straightforward- ANC is pretty damn good, especially with lower frequencies.- i would have preferred a transparency mode, and i thought i was gonna hate the "press and hold" ambient button, but it's actually fine. it's like a pause button that pipes in external sounds. it works well and it works faster than i was expecting. totally not mad at it.- the fit is fantastic. it has ample padding in the headband and the earpads are, for lack of a better term, labial. SO. COMFORTABLE.- the app is the most disappointing thing about these, so far. not a whole lot of options. it begs the question "why did you even bother, Razer?" I would love to see this app upgraded to have customizable profiles and a real transparency mode.I use these in bluetooth mode on my phone and tablet, and in wired mode on my laptop. I plan to use these for casual music listening, tv/movies, non-competitive gaming, and audio/video editing. they seem like they will fit the bill nicely.UPDATE:after a few months and many more headphone purchases, these STILL have a spot at my desk. I now own technically better headphones (HD 560s and a couple of T50 mods) but i still reach for these when i wanna go wireless or i want to passively or actively drown out my surroundings.

Wireless All-Day Daily Drivers
I've worn these things for an average of 10 hours day for just short of a year straight - often sleeping with them on. The battery life is outstanding. A year later and I need to charge these once/day, at most, and it charges very quickly. At full charge, these could easily do 16 hours.I ended up having to do a hard reset (instructions in manual) twice after the headset became disconnected and completely unresponsive, but remained powered on with no auto-shutoff. After a firmware update with the Razer Opus app this problem has not happened again. My experience with the noise cancelling feature has been very good. Its not perfect, and struggles with full elimination of the same types of noise every (non-ai) active noise cancellation does.Bluetooth works well. Audio quality is reduced compared to 3.5mm, but that's a limitation of the bluetooth spec itself. It's very good audio quality for what the spec allows. As far as the media/call features, all I've really used is the volume and play/pause, which work as expected.yExcellent battery lifeSurprisingly durableGreat audio quality

Good active noise cancelling headphones from an established brand that releases quality products.
Great anc headphones.Sound-Good but pretty standard I would say. Very clear sound but, not very bass heavy if that’s something you are into.Build Quality-Nice build quality would have preferred a little more aluminum in the build but they are still nice feeling, nice looking, an a mature looking headset from Razer. Comes with nice faux leather carrying case that holds all the accessories included with the set.Noise cancellation-My first pair of anc headphones. Yes it works. Bought these for a noisy classroom setting an it blocks out the noise.Comfort-Very comfortable to wear. I wear glasses an they haven’t put any pressure in those areas where some headsets can wear you out. Lightweight an good leatherette padding on earcups an headband.Overall-I would recommend these to a friend ifthey are on sale ( I got them at 143.00 usually runs around 199.00 for this set)You are someone looking for anc headphonesIf you are a Razer fan an you like having products from their ecosystem.Wouldn’t recommend if-You lust for bass in your headphonesYou are just looking for a wireless headphones an anc isn’t a priority.
