CCLS is the only and best product to use in septic systems! In fact I believe it’s cheaper than using RID. Who wants to dump more stuff solid down the toilet? This easy to use solution does an amazing job with the junk that goes down there anyway. Since we don’t use the disposal, the extra food scraps get in the compost pile and the trash depending. There’s no smell that I’ve noticed and I kept one of the individual 32 oz bottles so I just use that to measure the correct amount each month. We’ve never had a problem with our septic tank and when they come to pump the tank there’s no smell either. We started with 4 people living here and we’re down to 2 peeps now, and the last time we had the tank pumped, the guy said we could have gone 8 yrs between pumping yet we’ve always kept it at every 5 yrs. The pumpers have said that we’re doing everything correctly to maintain the health of the system. I just pour it down the upstairs toilet and that’s all I needed to do, although it’s good for cleaning drains and possible other clogs, yet we manually remove clogs as soon as we notice water backing up! It’s not hard to do, just DO NOT throw the clogs in the toilet or you’ll end up with a clog there!!!

Kept my septic field working great for over20 years! That plus once every year or two septic pump out. BUT the price!. I bought this gallon at $49.99 ONLY filled 4 of my previous empty bottles & only got four @.946 Liters! Do the math!! Yikes. Didn't spill a single drop. Theres ia a blue powder (same bio make up as this) that I MIGHT try next. These sturdy Plastic bottles must add cost. Otherwise GREAT! No smell easy to use. I have many bathrooms & sinks. Product works!!.

It’s good at its job!

Three years after I moved in, had the septic tank serviced, and was told that I'd not been taking care of it properly. The grocery store additives I'd been using didn't do the job. So I started buying CCLS and for the next three years followed the directions and applied 16 oz or so of this product every month down my drain and into my septic tank. After about three years I had the septic tank serviced again. Septic technician said "solids were spongy -- perfect". Who wants to talk about this ... stuff? But the alternative is a messed-up septic field and no one wants that. I was pleased to hear my investment (as the stuff isn't cheap) paid off.
