Avoid at all cost
This has been, by far, one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made.When I received the package, I set it aside for some time before attempting to assemble it, but this was a mistake. First, the packaging itself was done absolutely horribly. The inside of the box was filthy and had debris and dead insects inside. It looked like it might have been sitting outside at some point and the tape was all covered in hair. Pretty disgusting.Second, the package came with absolutely no instructions at all which made attempting to assemble this a fun little challenge.Third, it was missing one of the hardware pieces. Luckily I didn't -need- it, but one of the stands is without a bolt as a result.Fourth, the quality of the machining done on this product is no better then a mid school shop class. Seriously my 11 year old could probably build something as nice. For this price I expected far better.Fifth the thing unbelieviably precarious and flimsy. I haven't used it yet (will be attempting THAT on christmas when I try to roast a 30lb pig), but i'm not convinced it's going to work at all at this point.Sixth and the worst part, the motor assembly wasn't even assembled when it shipped. The motor rattled around inside the case and when I plugged it in to start it, it shorted out and electrocuted me. Upon further inspection none of the screws that secured the motor to the inside of the housing had been actually tightened down so the motor touched exposed wire leads (that had no protective cover!) and shorted out. Luckily I was able to fix the motor, replace the switch and screw everything down properly and it "works" now, but i'm certain at this point I put more time and labor into assembling this then they did manufacturing or packaging it.I'm also certain that this isn't stainless steel, considering part of it is already rusting.This thing isn't even worth HALF the price I paid and I got it at a discount.Avoid at all costs you've been warned.

Don’t recommend
Sharp edges cut myself multiple times trying to put it together and I believe it is not stainless steel and is aluminum also not 53 inches it is 46 inches feels cheap for the price better off spending $200 dollars elsewhere.

Under powered
This item did not perform on a 75lb pig. Would not rotate. This isn’t our first rodeo with roasting pigs and lamb motor just under powered in our opinion. Will opt for a heavier duty motor.

Easy to assemble. Arrived broken, incomplete and scratch but seller will not reply. Don't buy

No motor power
Total piece crap, motor rated for 150 lbs, not. Would not turn 90 lbs, and motor burned out after pig was reduced to 60 lbs in fifteen minutes.
