"LOOK" No Further-The Nemesis Is Hard To Beat!
If you are looking for a very good pair of what I would call "Hybrid" sun/safety glasses....look no further. Actually, I discovered these glasses accidentally through a friend who is an electrician who gave me a pair when I misplaced mine. Initially, I thought it looked like junk-I was most surprised and here is why:PROS:1. These glasses are supplied by a company that manufactures safety eyewear for contractors so they tend to be well made especially for the $8 price per pair.2. They meet or exceed the performance standards for ANSI Z87.1+ and provide 99.9% UVA and UVB protection.3. Each pair is supplied with a lanyard for removing the glasses temporarily without losing them-Very convenient.4. The shape of these glasses are contoured and provide side protection.5. Composite rubber nose piece is excellent in preventing slippage if you sweat heavily.6. Very stylish pair of glasses offering good sun protection for an excellent price.CONS:1. These are unpolarized sunglasses, so please take this into consideration if you prefer a polarized lens. Polarization is a useful feature if you are especially sensitive to glare. When light reflects off of flat surfaces, such as water, the light waves align in horizontal patterns, creating intense glare. The filters in polarized lenses block these horizontal light waves, substantially reducing blinding glare. However, In some instances, polarized filters react with the tints in windshields, creating blindspots and diminishing the visibility of LCD readouts in your auto equipment, such as GPS navigation systems. If this occurs, you should consider mirrored lenses as a glare-reducing alternative for driving. Remember...you will spend at least $20-$30 for a cheap drug store pair of polarized lenses.2. Each hinge is secured by a jewel-sized Phillips screw. I have found (after purchasing 6 pairs of these glasses), that these glasses do not adjust well by tightening the screw into the plastic frame. The screws strip easily. If one of the hinges is looser than the other my advice is simply to leave it alone. This appears to be a quality control issue but for $8, I'll accept it.3. The Nemesis lenses appear to soil easily from epidermal oil from your skin and especially to sunblock and other types of oil-based preparations. The blue tint of these lenses seems especially difficult to keep clean.BOTTOM LINE:1. All variables considered, you will not find a better pair of hybrid sunglasses for the money. Remember...these are sold by a company that manufactures and supplies safety glasses to contractors and other industrial and commercial suppliers. You will not find these glasses at CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens or Wal Mart. If these were marketed exclusively as a retail package I can assure you that both the quality of the product would likely be compromised and the cost would be doubled or tripled!2. To clean the lenses well, pick up a box of Zeiss Lens Cloths (they are supplied in boxes of 50 disposable wipes) and are specifically designed for properly and safely cleaning lenses. They do a great job, are made in the U.S. and the wipes are very inexpensive-about $2 a box. Here's the UPC: 0-74887-54410-0.3. This is essentially a "hybrid" product, functioning as both sunglasses and "safety eyewear" and the package states so. However, this will not replace the need to wear face shields, mask(s) or other appropriate eyewear if you are doing anything other than driving an auto or using them for casual and non-impact work or walking.4. Grab these while they are still available. They provide the most bang for the buck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BE SAFE!

Primo safety shades!
Jackson Nemesis v30 safety glasses are where its at! I've been wearing different variants of these puppies at work for 5 years now. I've been thru roughly 6 pairs in that time but thats mainly because of my work environment combined with my tendency to drop them. Scratches are the main reason I have had to replace them. Now if I could get past the fashion statement that wearing the included safety lanyard makes then I'd probably only be on my second pair or so but I just can't be "that guy" haha. Never had a single pair break/snap in that time. The lens has come partially free from the frame on a couple pairs but that was easily remedied with a cpl drops of superglue.PROS:1. Dark shading! These glasses are very dark so if you work in direct sunlight like me these will keep your eyes shaded and help keep those pesky eyewrinkles away!(if you want lesser shading try the VL line from Jackson). They also make these in clear lens which I bought for night time at work.2. Durable! These are not cheap plastic glasses by any means. They hold up to harsh work environments very well. The lens aren't particularly scratch resistant but you can't get it all for this price. If you're that concerned with it you can wear the included lanyard ;-)3. Comfy! They fit very nicely even on my large head(7 3/4 hat size) and are very lightweight. Ive never once felt any discomfort with them and this includes occasional 12 hour days!4. Stylish! These suckers have a stylish sporty look similar to motorsports and cycling glasses.5. Low Price! There are a ton of low price plastic safety shades out there but none of them are as excellent as these! I have recently ordered 2 other pair at about 14$ a piece here on amazon and I sent both of them back. They didn't begin to compare to these at half the price! Combine 1-4 from above at this price point and you get a pair of 5+ star safety shades! Highly recommend!

best eyewear ever!
I wear these all the time. Best sunglasses I have ever owned. Got a pair for work now a second pair for on the weekend! High quality lenses with great brightness reduction and crystal clear vison while being safety glasses at the same time. Amazing for working/driving/outdooring never fall off the head.

Looking for a new pair after 1 month of using these
The tint is extremely dark which is fine for outside but inside you can’t see very well. My biggest problem is that they scratch really easily and I have some water marks on the lenses that won’t come off. If you work with concrete do not buy these.
