Lean Into It

I bought this CD to get a little back ground on Paul Gilbert in his earlier years and to try to justify the high prices of his newer solo music. I've heard his "Get out of my Yard" CD and was very impressed. After listening to it a couple of times now, this "Lean into it" cd comparably was a bit disappointing. Not bad, but nothing to write home about either. Maybe it'll grow on me after a few more listenings. It would be nice if Amazon offered some preview sound tracks of Mr. Gilbert's cd's to get a better idea of what would sound good to the purchaser.

One of the best rock and roll bands that came out of the 80's. This is their best CD. This is one of the most talented bands you will ever hear. I played the cassette to death when the album came out back in the day. I now have the CD and on MP3 and still play it to death. Just Love this band and their music. They transcend the years. This CD will not disappoint. I have almost all their CD's and love them all. Just can't get enough of MR.BIG.If you love good ole fashioned rock and roll you will love them too.

Having met Mr. Big only on the 2017 album (DEFYING GRAVITY), I decided to try listening to another one. I searched, and from what I detected, of the oldest albums, the highest rated was LEAN INTO IT, the band's second album. So, I bought it.Far from being disappointing (the album is very good), it served to make it clear how much the band evolved between 1991 and 2017. Simple as that.

Thought it was greatest hits, but this will do. I also have dvd, live from SAN FRAN 92'. That is a 5-star, and the reason I bought this cd!!

I don't know why I never bought this album when it first came out 26 years ago. Nonetheless, and better late than ever, I finally own it and dog it. A true collection of creative rock musicianship.

Made them stars back in the early 90s and this is a classic album by a awesome band! Loved this back when I was a teenager and still love it now!!!!!! Every song is great and has stood the test of time! OUTSTANDING EFFORT! !!!!!

I bought this CD for the song Just Take My Heart When You Go. However, I have found other new favorite songs on this CD! It arrived on schedule, was in the original sealed wrapper, and was in perfect condition. I am very happy that I ordered this CD. It was cheaper than downloading all of the songs!

Love Eric's voice. The songs are good.i'm just not a big fan i guess but i appreciate the artistry.

One of the albums of my youth. In my opinion this is their best, regardless of the obvious number one "To be with you", which catapulted them to stardom. Nineties production now dates the sound, but the energy and musical expertise of Gilbert and Sheehan is electric. Definitely would recommend to anyone into classic rock.

Bought this album on the strength of Mr. Big's self-titled debut. While "Lean Into It" was far more successful than its predecessor that success came at the cost of being far more commercial.Overall it is a good record but if you want to hear Mr. Big at their best then buy their debut album. Lean Into It features some of the bands greatest songs, including Just Take My Heart and To Be With You. It's a great album!

Great album. Not as solo based as the earlier albums but at this stage Paul Gilbert had released a couple of instrumental albums so plenty to enjoy there for any ax nut like myself...

i had this on an old casstte tape and transfred to cd but sound wasn't great so decide to get the actual cd and love it always loved listening to these guys when i was younger and now play every day in car while out working
