Broke after three days but customer service excellent
UPDATE: Having missed the Amazon return window, I emailed Taotronics UK support to find out the best way to return them, and got a speedy response with some troubleshooting and an offer to replace them if it didn't work. Unfortunately it didn't, but they sent me out a new pair immediately so within a few days I had a replacement without the hassle of returning the faulty ones. Can't fault customer service like that. Very well done on their part, and gives me more confidence to buy the brand again in future because as I say below, before these broke I was very happy with them.---The right bud stopped charging after three days. So one star and a return. For the couple of days they worked though...Bass is decent, and helps cover up that the sound quality can struggle in other areas. For £30 they're fine, and I have no real complaints, but they're not gonna be winning any awards. They come with a good number of different sized buds so you should be able to find a good fit, and once you do the volume goes more than high enough to block out the outside world. If you're looking to make crossing the street that bit more dangerous, these are great.Design is subjective, but I find them much less distracting than sticking two electric toothbrushes in your ears so everyone knows you worship at the temple of the Jobs Creator. The case isn't small, but it's not huge and fits in a pocket easily enough. There's a bit of give on the lid which isn't great, but it's a nice smooth material that has a subtle shine rather than a cheap and nasty gloss. The charging cable is about 20 cm long so it's pretty much useless unless you're connecting to a PC or the like. They're obviously not as good as ones over £100, but for the price, I was perfectly happy with them. Right up until the moment they broke.AFTER THREE DAYS.

They go in your ears and make noise
Erm so these have voice isolation on the microphone and the design of them helps plug the ears for noise reduction. There is no noise cancellation (in my opinion noise cancellation is best used to describe the active variant that sends out an inverted phase to cancel out incoming sound waves).I've not tested the microphone and the isolation, generally I didn't buy them for that. Noise reduction is pretty good, reducing most incoming sounds to a low pitched hum (great for ignoring annoying humans, annoying humans with pets etc.).Sound quality is surprisingly good, for a set of wireless buds that were sometimes a third of the price of their competitors I didn't expect much but you get a good frequency response out of them with low bass and clear treble.Comfort wise, well they tend to fall out my ears quite a bit, I suspect they get sweaty and slide out, I've not adjusted them for my ears to might try the bigger size.Battery wise they last a long time, easily suitable for long journeys and I've worn them for more than eight hours while at the packing bench without issue. (Don't fall asleep with them in, it does hurt when you wake up). The docking? box holds a good charge too so you can get multiple long uses out of them.

Update : Great Customer Care (After Bad Experience)
UPDATE: 20 November 20020---------------------------------------------------------Without prompt or harassing , i was contacted by TaoTronics Customer Service. They voiced their disappointment with how one of their products had fallen short of their high standards. It is this kind of customer care that really makes me appreciate this Brand.I'll update this review in due time when i have tried out my new pair of SoundLiberty79 wireless Earbuds.Would highly recommend people trust company and their products. One disappointing experience does not over shadows a longer relationship of trust and quality products!----------------------------------------------------------Original Review----------------------------------------------------------I wish to confirm initially, my average rating is due to a defective product i received!Received a quick and easy refund from Amazon so may purchase again!Product arrived promptly and looked professionally packed. I had prior to purchased watched other users open theirs ad review it. When i opened mine, each ear piece didn't have the standard blue film over the charge connectors within the charging pod. Didn't really mind. Know from other purchases, best to charge initially to avoid silly issues. After 5 hours charge i decided to connect to phone. Was never able to get the appropriate set up to bluetooth connect. Read manual and online help and still nothing. Then noticed when putting ear pieces into charging pod i wasnt getting any illumination of charge for either earpiece. Then whenever i connected the cabling to charge pod, it too was failing to perform as expected.Would have liked the option for replacement but due to going through Amazon refund process, wasnt available. May purchase again in hope of 'new' pair! Had Taotronics before so willing to give second chance but deeply disappointed that had this happen when i wanted to enjoy my new pair!
