The tees fit the thickness of my golf mat.
I like using wooden tees with my driver which I feel gives me a more natural shot that I have during a round of golf.

the ability to hold a tee after 20 or 30 ball goes away ,have to add tape to the tee to hold it in place

Short
I like that they are short when practicing with every thing but the driver. Using this as a wood tee holder as suggested is a pain because when the wood tee breaks the bottom part remains in the rubber tee. You have to almost remove the rubber tee from the range mat to remove the broken bottom of the wood tee. So buying rubber tees the correct height for the driver would make life easier.

As good as it gets.
Use it under the mat for 3 wood swing, and add a wooden tee for driver swing. Good quality and practical.

Works well
I like this a lot. It is nice to insert a tee to set your desired hight when hitting from a mat.

Stops Holding Tees Firmly Over Time
I purchased these tee holders for my Real Feel golf mat. The original one had dry rotted and cracked near the top and would not hold tees very well any more. These tee holder are the perfect height stopping just below the top surface of the mat when inserted and fit the hole in the mat just fine.Over time though, and not much time either, they don't hold the tees very well. It could be from being out in the sun maybe, but there is a noticeable change when I use a new holder that has not been previously used. Although the original holder that came with the mat still holds tees firmly, after I cut off the top 1/4 inch that was cracked. Also, I use standard old wooden tees so it is not that. It's not a huge deal just a bit frustrating when using a real long tee for driving practice. By not holding the tee firmly, it can make it difficult to balance a ball on the top of the tee when it wants to lean over. When using shorter tees for iron shots, it is not that big of a problem. When I compare the original tee that came with the mat it is definitely a more rubbery feel than these which seem to be made of a bit stiffer material which might be the problem. I only saw a few reviews that noted this so not sure if it's a quality control issue or if they are getting them from different suppliers and it's the luck of the draw. Either way I will be looking elsewhere, and I guess paying more, to get some new replacement tees.
