The chews are very hard so I experimented and microwaved the chew for 45 seconds. Microwaving the chew and made it puffy and much softer. Pup seems to enjoy the chew either hard or puffed. The hard version keeps his interest for about 30 minutes at a time. The hard chews last about a week.
