Ohhh myyy holy hottness
I ...wow. okay...First let me say i waited for this book for a while and i was so stoked when he finally came out. There were maybe 1 or 2 typos . Nothing major. The chemistry was insane. I loved how throughout everything the universe was basically screaming at them both lol. Cole/caulky was a legit sweetheart and so real about everything. If you dont fall for him (even just a tiny bit) i may not trust you. Ren was adorable and i was skeptical of the bees but he made it sound legit interesting.Honeybee and Grizzly...♡ he still my heart.Throughout this entire book i have cried wanted to facepalm myself and laughed out loud so much its insane.I so cant wait for Daniel to get his HEA. And i am super curious about ollie and stone....i want ollie to find his forever and im just curious for more stone in general lol.Seriously dont pass up a chance to check this book out!.

Read it; bought it
I picked up this read after finishing a very angst-filled book and found this fun, witty story to be the perfect antidote. The author is SO good at writing dialogue that actually can make me lol. It’s also the touches like Ren having bee hives and making/selling products he creates by hand; Cole being so supportive of something Ren believed was simply a hobby. There is so much in this story that had me feeling warm and happy by the end. What a truly lovely story.

Sweet and humorous
Very good writing as it flowed easily from page to my mind. What I liked: the dating app messages, tons of fun there. What bored me: slow pace at times. What was fun: the four bears interaction (will read all their storylinens, probably). What was hot: their sexual chemistry got better as the pair advanced from hooking up to needing each other and getting feelings. My only niggle was that there was too much sex on page before that so I had started to skim those scenes a bit before the good stuff. There really is too much sex for my taste.I’ll rec this for readers who enjoy lighthearted fun as a side dish and plenty of sexing as the main course.

Bears and honeybees
This book is so sweet and funny. I love Ren and his snarky and sassy attitude. He is fun and flirty and I just love how even with the fear he can open up to find a deep love. Cole is so fun he is the quintessential bachelor type until he meets the one man who is worth the price of going for something more. Cole and his steadfastness and openness about things is able to show that not everyone is the type to bail on someone when things might get rough. These two are perfect for one another and I just love how they are able to bring each other the greatest joy. They offer love and encouragement to each other and along with their friends are able to show the support for both of them to see how good things can be and to convince them it’s worth the risk to see if the being in love is better than the falling in love.

Offbeat romance
Ren has just broken up with his partner of five years. His best friend decided that the best thing for Ren to do is get drunk and get laid. He does a little too well on the getting-drunk part, so when his friend convinces him to approach Cole, the big construction worker won’t go farther than a kiss, but what a kiss. It takes Ren a while to screw up the courage to go back to the bar for more, but Cole is there and neither man is disappointed, but can a hookup really lead to a full relationship, and is that what either man wants? This is a somewhat difficult book to summarize briefly. There’s a lot more going on than just a simple hookup-to-lovers story. In a way, the plot explores the different way we fall in love. There’s the obvious physical attraction that Ren and Cole have when they hook up, but then there’s a sort of intellectual connection the two form via their online personas, “Rebound” and “CaulkyAF”, not knowing that they’re interacting with the same guy they’ve got a physical connection with.Ren is definitely an interesting character. In many respects, he’s quite relatable, although his hobby is a little unusual. But, that’s a big part of what makes this book a pretty good read. It takes a seemingly ordinary plot and adds layers of complexity that you don’t often get in contemporary romance. The point of view switches back and forth between Cole and Ren, so you get to know both characters pretty well. Cole seems to be a bit more of a straight-forward what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of character. The book also introduces Cole’s three business partners, who each feature in their own stories in the series. We get just enough of them to whet our appetites for coming books, which I’ll be reviewing in time.

Ready to get...caulky?
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and I loved it from the beginning to the end. Ren and his bees might be the best thing I've ever read. Add to that the incredible steamy scenes and the utter sweetness that is the two of them... The wait has been worth it, but I'm kinda mad at myself for having read it so fast. I need more NOW.

3.5 fun and steamy stars
“There’s no way of knowing what the future might hold for us, but I do know how I feel in this moment, and that’s something to be celebrated and shared, not hidden for fear of possible heartbreak.”+ Light hearted romance that starts off as a rebound/f*** buddy situation+Full Steam ahead, for me personally though it got repetitive and boring and I could have done with 30% less steamy scenes lol+ The clueless online communication and even using that after they know they are talking to each other, made me smile so hard. Adorable.+ Big dislike for the guys "joking" with Ollie. The guys don't give him a chance, "ribbing" him for loving love when they're commitment phobes. But it turned mean in my opinion, Ollie seemed to resent them because of the way they treated him with trying to find love. I imagine this intensifies through the series.+ Bees and other such cute things.+ Communication, Cole & Ren have their own worries/issues but there's great moments of communication!+ Adorable jealousy and loopy love confessions.Overall it was cute and fun but got a tad repetitive and I disliked the treatment of Ollie but so glad I've started this series!

Finding the one
I've read a few similar books, but this was the best. Both Ren and Cole are unlucky in love.On a dare Ren propositions Cole and had the best kiss of his life, even though drunk.Six months later, he decides to put the pass behind and sign up to a dating app. At the same time he goes back to the bar and meets Cole again. Needless to say the chemistry is off the hook, and commitment phones becomes a once a week thing.Cole is chatting to a guy on a dating site and there is a connection. Confusion arising or feelings? This was such a wonderful read, wondering when and what will happen. It was such a fun easy read. The supporting cast was also funny. Enjoyable

Blooming brilliant
KM Neuhold is one of my few 'one click' authors as she does not disappoint. She has once again knocked it out of the park with this one. I absolutely loved Caulky and Rebound / Cole and Ren. So many laughs and so much love. Great secondary characters who I am sure will be appearing in the rest of the series. I would heartily recommend this story (and all of her back catalogue too).

Sweet as honey
I really enjoyed Ren and Cole’s story. Ren is on the rebound and Cole doesn’t do relationships...but there’s chemistry between them.I loved the introduction to the rest of the construction company that Cole owns too, as well as Daniel (Ren’s best friend). The glimpse of the neighbour was also intriguing. As always K.M. Neuhold does the first book in a series right and leaves you satisfied at the MCs story but also wanting more.

I've had my eye on this book for a while and finally took the plunge and bought the series and I'm glad I did. Caulky is a fun read. Cole and Ren are brilliant, snarky characters and I'm glad I downloaded the rest of the series 'cos I'm off to read the next one right now!
