The Girl Who Went Nowhere

I found the violence in this book disturbing. I also thought there was too much going on. The first part was a combination of upsetting violence, boring stories and confusion. I wanted to know what happened to the girl, but she was pretty much forgotten til the end. I almost quit reading. Then it got better. Reminded me of Agatha Christi. Finally they tied all the murders and storylines together and I just didn't think it worked. It just seemed too fantastic and unreal. I also suspected the twist.The book was ok but not great. I probably wouldn't recommend it.

What did I like about this book? EVERYTHING! What did I dislike about this book? NOTHING! It was probably the best, most entertaining book I've ever read. With most books I've read lately I end up skimming over most of it just to get to the end. Not so with The Girl Who Went Nowhere. I found myself reading it very slowly because I didn't want it to end. And speaking of end, I didn't see that coming, at all! I'm not sure when I pre-ordered it but it showed up on my Kindle Saturday morning and I'm so glad it did. I certainly hope there will be a sequel, or six. 😊 I will definitely recommend to others. Thank you Marc for a wonderful book, and please keep em coming!

Book had lots of twists and turns - took a bit to keep all the characters straight but about halfway through the book, it was hard to put down. I will say that the book was pretty graphic, violence wise, so reader beware. Parts of it were tough to read because of that. The ending fell apart a little, and you have to suspend belief a bit - but I didn't figure it out until the author was ready for me to. Overall, good book and I would read this author again.

This is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. Usually, I figure out what's going to happen early on but not this one. I absolutely did not see this end coming. Very well written and lots of twists. Would very highly recommend.

Once I started this book I had to finish it. I really liked the characters relationships and hope this author will continue their stories.

Started out good, then went into environmental facts about drilling oil, then into a version of the game Clue, After that I couldn't continue, Could Not finish is. Rarely do I Not finish a book, just couldn't get into this o e. Sorry I don't like to give low reviews, but had to in this case.

This is a horrible book. I wish I had not bought it. I don't even want to waste my time typing a review. Do not buy it! There was unnecessary sexual scenes that had nothing to do with the missing girl.

Thorough enjoyed this mystery. The author’s writing was vivid enough for me to feel like I was in the room with the characters. I will definitely read more of Mr. Daniel’s books.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story kept me guessing, just when I thought I had figured it out the author took off in another direction. The ending wasn't one I saw coming. I think it left the way open for a couple of the characters to have another adventure sometime. Well worth a read.

Goodness, this one is a wild ride from start to finish. The plot is incredibly well crafted and the characters are beautifully drawn. I read it in one sitting, couldn't wait to see what came next.

Brilliant. Keeps you guessing. Very clever and intricate. I have loved all Mark’s books and this one was no exception. Looking forward to reading more !

This book keeps you guessing all the way through to the very end just when you think who the killer is you find out you are wrong. Awesome!! I love the writers way of writing. The story is well thought out with a twists & turns I didn't always see coming. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for more from him.
