Hunts spaghetti sauce is great!! You have to be so careful with this product on Amazon, though, because some sellers gouge the prices to a ridiculous, shameful degree. At the time I bought this item from this seller, the price was reasonable and the product as always was delish. Kudos to the seller for being reasonable when most aren’t.

I have this product on auto delivery. it is best value for your money and flavor is good. However, the last 2 deliveries come with cans being damaged and DENTED cans. As you know that caused breaking of the inner seal and chemicals may leek into the products so those are going back for exchange

This is the old standard in our house, esp. with kids and grandkids going in and out so much w/o advance word that they will arrive for dinner (too much hockey). Tasty and easy to use. I am teaching the grandkids to cook simple things, like spaghetti with red sauce, and this is my "go to" training item for that. Arrived well packed and was quickly shipped. As described. Highly recommend.

Some people reviewed that this sauce is too runny, or not enough flavor. I disagree, very flavorful - tasting lots of herbs, and it’s plenty thick. With other sauces I’ve had to add onions, garlic and herbs, but not with this sauce. If you prefer to thicken it just throw it in a saucepan without a lid and simmer till it thickens. This is not a cheesy sauce though, there’s cheese but not very noticeable.

I bought this thinking it was Hunts' equivalent of Ragu's double Cheddar Sauce. This isn't however an actual cheese sauce, but a tomato based sauce. This arrived in good condition on 8/31/20 with a best by date of 2/02/22. I made spaghetti and tried this, and wasn't terribly impressed. First, I would have thought with all the cheese in the sauce that the sauce would be somewhat thick and creamy. It is one of the thinnest, runniest spaghetti sauces I've tried. It doesn't taste awful, but it isn't robust in flavor coupled with how runny/thin the sauce is making it rather bland and uninviting as a standalone sauce.SLOW simmering this sauce with some red wine, lots more grated cheese, and some crushed red pepper flakes makes it pretty good. Yet, when I buy tomato based pasta sauces I don't want to have to doctor them and slow simmer them to get them to my liking. I like buying an already robust flavorful sauce, that I can quickly heat as is and serve for convenience.

Great flavor. I like chunky sauce, so I add sauteed chopped onion and bell peppers, diced tomatoes mushrooms, and meat or poultry. This sauce is thick and good on its own, however.
