Review: Not too shabby! - I bought this with very low expectations based on the reviews. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it's fairly awesome! Yes, it's plastic, and yes, the jewel/ball thing at the top is just stickers, but to me (and I'm pretty picky about costumes....I paid over $400 to have a custom Maleficent costume made) it works nicely. It's only flimsy if you're planning to really use it as a walking stick or cane, or if you plan to use it to pole vault. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It completed the look nicely and was the perfect size for me (I'm 5'9").

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The description says it is 2.25" high and 7" wide. That doesn't seem right.. Exactly how tall is the staff?**
A: We measured the staff it is 56-inches in length.  The other answer seemed more like a general size not the exact size.

**Q: i need the stick for my daughter, but it's too long. Can i use only top part (half of the stick)? How long is the top of it?**
A: The stick is hollow.   Difficult to cut and it not collapse.  My 4 year old grand daughter loves hers.  It does not 'look' to long for her.  That ball is right over the top of her head.  Different than the movie stick but it has lasted through sword fights and baton twirls.  I would not cut it. But if you did. Cut it from the narrow bottom and fill the hole with hot glue then wrap it with brown duct tape. I think some type of modification will work.  It is light weight so some bottom weight would be good.

**Q: How tall is this walking stick?**
A: It's between 4 1/2 and 5' tall - I'm tall (5'9") and it was a perfect height for me.  Not very sturdy (comes in 2 pieces you screw together) but it works for walking around if you don't need it to bear any weight.

**Q: Would this work for a wizard staff? As in, Merlin's staff?**
A: Yes this staff could work as a stand-alone, generic wizard's staff.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Addition for Witches Costume

Decided to add this to my Halloween decor this year. Usually I use brooms to my witches display, but this year I’m going to try something a little different. This staff is easy to assemble, comes in two pieces, and should made a nice addition to my large witch. It’s approximately 5 feet tall and lightweight. It is more suitable for an adult, 14+, rather than a child due to its length when screwed together but if you only use the top portion I believe a child could use this as part of a costume.
