Great dry pack but might be small for most modern phones
This is a great pack and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use it mainly for registration and insurance card in my Jeep console . The top is off a lot in the summer, and it's not uncommon that I get caught in a passing storm and everything in the console ends up damp. This solves that problem. I also throw my wallet in when kayaking Works great for money, wallet and I haven't tried but my passport might even fit in there, but it's not going to fit a bigger, modern phone like a Samsung S9 or iPhone XR If you have an older phone, like an iphone 5 or 6 I assume they would fit fine. If your phone will fit, I'm sure this pack will keep it safe and dry.

hard closure
the closure on the samll dry pack is not that easy to maneuver..and haven't even performed in while wet..the size is good for a small cell phone but a little tight for a Blackberry or Iphone

Dry pack for telephone
I am really impressed. I put a tool of equal weight to my phone in the case, sealed it and submerged it in a sink of water. It stayed dry. And it bobbed to the surface and floated. It has a tight closure at the top. I could operate the phone, speak and hear well with the phone inside. I have only one minor fault and that is with the way it is packed for shipping. It appears to be vacuum sealed so tightly that the pack can be damaged on opening it. That happened to me. I called the vendor and they sent a replacement in a few days. The trick to opening it is to feel for the thick plastic top part and then carefully use a knife to open the packing just above it. That way you will not cut into the soft plastic of the pack.

Must Have - Works Great
I had purchased the "Dry Pak Cell Phone Case" for my boyfriend after his first iPhone ended up at the bottom of the lake. That size works well for the iPhone4 but it is a tight fit if you have an Otterbox on the phone. I purchased this one to allow for an easier fit. It works good.In regards to the drypak itself...it works really well. We have taken our phones (and camera) in the drypak on the boat, to the bahamas, ft lauderdale, and Sea World in Texas (absolutely necessary unless you plan to leave your phone in the car). I also like that we can put our phones in the pak and tuck them in a beach bag, hook it on a belt loop or tie it around the neck or cross body with the lanyard. The drypak is really a must have!

Die hard Kwik Tek fan!
I had one I got from the PX years back and it finally died. Must have been about 5 years old. As I love the pool and chilling in the bathtub and my husband borrowed it for his run through the local river and his phone was the only one not water logged I am a hero. I also have one for my Kindle. LOVE! The only thing I liked better about my old one is that it was clear on both sides so I could use it as a camera too for my phone but this has padding :)

GREAT INVENTION
It does what it says folks! I take this camping and hiking and I feel safe that my phone, gps and camera will not be damaged...they survived a down pour and a drop in a creek. It has a very good seal. Though I suspect nothing is as 100% as being diligent with your electronics.Plus, I cannot say the same about ziploc bags if you are trying to save a little money. I've used the 'ole ziplics...This is definitely worth the price if you are out in the elements very often.
