Perfect Gift !
Thank you.Great seller! Thank you for offering this …. this book added so much fun and memories as a gift to a very special person who loved this musical revue. She now has a treasured memory of this long running show... that closed 5 or so months ago.. after soo many years and being a SF highlight. A wonderful book.

A RELIC
It is a relic and out of print. The artistic director is dead. He was a year ahead of me @ Winfield Scott School in the Marina. This book sums up the phenomenon that was/is BBB. Waiting for the sequel by Roger J. Silver, who was in my classes 60 years ago.Sept 15, 2015--- A"must-read">>>>GOING SANE in SAN FRANCISCO--finally published! This is Roger's take on his family and interaction with his brother, the originator of BBB. Roger has included music. Roger has led a colorful life, to say the least.Happy 70th birthday, Roger, from your first girlfriend.

Great fun!
For those who have been fortunate enough to see Beach Blanket Babylon, this provides wonderful pictures, great information about what goes on behind the scenes, how the show got started--almost as much fun as being there--well, not quite. Fans of the show will enjoy very much.

How very, very talented this man was......
I just saw BBB again, for the unpteenth time this past Saturday, November 16, 2019. I am so very, very sad that it is ending it's run.I went to Marina Junior High, and I had a crush on Steve Silver when I was in the 8th grade in 1957. His neighbor, Fran, would invite me to her apartment building so I could see him and perhaps speak to him. 20 years later, when I went to BBB for the first time, Steve was there, and much to my surprise, recognized me and greeted me" Hi, Nancy! How nice to see you!" Wow! What an artist! At least I will have the book to evoke warm memories!

A refreshing look at a microcosm reflecting a larger world.
This delightful book examines the unique theater which one man's vision successfully and energetically designed to examine the pain and parody of an evolving, contemporary American society and body politic. May Beach Blanket Babylon spread it's messages both throughout the American stages and through distribution of this panoramic literary exposition. Yes, proudly, Janet Lynn Roseman is my sister!
