I'd Rate this a 3 1/2 if I could. ~ Cable works just fine, but be careful trying to install onto a Wall Plate (with a pass-thru). By nature (we've learned), these Plenum cables are Very Rigid and are quite difficult to manage in a wall outlet. You cannot Bend these to a 90º angle, in a narrow wall, to plug into an HDMI pass-thru of a wall plate.

purchased cable for in wall installation and worked well for one year and then failed. The other "Monster" cables I used in wall installations have been in place for up to 5 years with no issues. I guess you get what you pay for and in this case you will take the chance of paying for installation again within a year of purchase.

I am an electrical contractor and never had any other HDMI cable fail. Two StarTech cables failed within 3 month returned the 1st one and 3 months later the second one failed. This has costed me alot of money to replace the cable because it was installed within a wall.I would not recommed StarTech HDMI cable

Very nice quality cables! And that are plenum rated. I had one issue with them and company sent me a new one with no questions asked. I have used several of these.
