This is the most helpful tool in 21st century!
This reading tool has proven to be helpful to me, I'm not blind, but sometimes I am lazy to reading long articles and comprehending. Seeing I have to read a lot, I need a tool to help me get through it quicker. And boy is OrCam Reader helps me get the job done, make my marks, and take my notes in less the time it would take to read myself. I love it and would like to get the other version, but it is out of my budget.

OrCam is a fantastic and amazing product
Tis did not work for my mom as she has severe AMD. I did return and upgraded to the OrCam Eye. They are a company I would recommend and we are very pleased with the product. Amazing!

Not worth the money
This very expensive text reader did not work for me at all! Constant read errors. Mispronounced words. Did not always acknowledge punctuation. Skipped text. Could not read columns correctly - started in the middle column, last column and then first column. If there was a picture or text box in the page, this really confused the device. Very difficult to follow and understand. This device had many Utube videos with positive reviews, which is why I purchased this, but in my opinion these reviews are deceiving. I bought this device for my mom who is losing her eyesight and thought this would allow her to “read” books, magazines, newspapers and restaurant menus. Total disappointment

IT WORKS!
A belt clip case that could carry the OrCam Read and it's ear bud would make the OrCam easier to use in everyday situations.

Difficult to use.
I found this device overpriced and difficult to use. Would like the Eye, but afraid product won’t work and very pricy.

Je suis grandement satisfait de mon appareil READ qui fait la lecture de textes français et anglais. Dans les 2 cas, les ponctuations sont intelligentes et ''confortables'' à l'audition. L'équipe d'aide à la clientèle m'a bien guidé dans mon apprentissage...avec patience! J'ai une DMLA dans les 2 yeux (sèche et humide). Je suis réalisateur-télé de documentaires et reportages, ce qui de demande de lire beaucoup de documentations. Avant mon READ, j'étais vraiment handicapé. Aujourd'hui je retrouve mes capacités. Merci à M. Brice et son équipe
