Hayward CCX1000RE (CC 1000E) Replacement Pool Filter Cartridge Elements, 100-Square-Foot

This is a replacement filter for the original one that came with the filtering system. The original filter lasted an entire season and probably would still work fine but I decided to replace it with a new filter. This is the same filter by the same manufacturer so I am assuming that it will work as well as the original. The original filter worked well and I was very pleased with it’s performance

Arrived quickly and was the product I needed.Had to sand down the bottom hole slightly to get a good fit.

Saved a bunch of money (~$50) over the local pool shop and this came faster than they could get me one.Fit like a charm XStream CC150CAN. Don’t notice any difference with water pressures or function from original filter.I’ll buy another one here when I have to.

The filter that arrived was only 18 inches high, approx. Correct height should be 24 inches. I reviewed details which state 18 inches (in centimeters) but that is not correct for this model.

It didn’t fit without cutting away some of the inner plastic. Odd. Otherwise, it’s fine.
