Learning to Thrive : So I can help you Thrive Too
Learning how to thrive instead of just surviving is the quest for the age of Aquarius. It is time. Today is the day to learn how to become your best self. Health and Wellness coaches can help you get there. This book gives an outstanding framework of how coaches can get up this mountain first to then be able to guide others up the newly blazed trail.

Thorough and straight-forward
I recently took and passed the ICHWC exam to become an NBC-HWC. This is the only book I bought to study from. I did, however, use other sources online like a Facebook study group which had similar questions that were on the exam. This book was easy to use, relatively small so that made it less daunting to study from, straight-forward, and inexpensive. It will continue to be a great resource in the future should I need to refer back to it. I should also state that I’ve been a Health & Wellness Coach for over 15 years and have gotten other certifications, so I’m sure that played a big part in my success. I don’t want you to think, especially if you are fairly new to coaching, that this book will provide every answer you need to do well, but it was definitely an excellent resource.

Readable, relevant, readily applicable
I’m going through FMCA (Functional Medicine Coaching Academy). This text is not required reading. Another health coach recommended it, and I find it to be really well written, very readable, and immediately applicable to real life health coaching in a functional medicine practice.

Valueable
I hesitated to buy because of the price but the content is incredible. I bought it to prepare for the exam but I will use this for sure time after time for my own reference and education.

Great for National Coach Exam Study
Info presented is evidenced-based and well researched. Throughout the book it is constantly referencing scientific sources. I don’t understand the other review that states to the contrary. Perhaps that reviewer got it mixed up with the book “How to Be a Health Coach ” by Meg Jordan which has no evidence- based data whatsoever ( in addition to other numerous problems). This book by Wellcoaches is by far the most professional coaching book of the 8 coaching books I own.
