And you know there always has to be a but. They’re too long—almost twice the size they’d need to be for a person with my size feet (wide, size 7). I sew, so this isn’t a huge deal. I flipped them inside out, brought them to the machine, shortened them (by about an inch and a half altogether), cut off the excess and turned them right-side out again. After that, they were the perfect size to wear with my mules (see photos). That was the first issue. But then, shortening them by that much makes the little grippy things on bottom more prominent and fall in a weird spot, so I had to turn the socks over so they weren’t annoying. The grips are *not* noticeable without alterations, though (if your foot/shoe is long enough to wear them that way). These stay in place all day, even without using that feature. Sort of a tedious workaround, but you do get 12 pairs! They’re comfy, some sort of cotton/synthetic blend. Not too thin, not too thick. Keeps your feet from getting all slippy with sweat. I sewed half of them and decided to wait and see if I could use the others in my normal sneakers (if it wouldn’t be weird to not have my heel covered). Overall I’m satisfied, but if you don’t want to take the trouble of sewing them, etc, and you have a size 7 foot or smaller (honestly I think even a size 8 or 9 they’d still be long-ish), you might want to look elsewhere.
