Our grill is ~4 years old, outside without cover for 2 of those. Heat tents had corroded and degraded to the point they broke into pieces last time I took them out to clean them. Gas burners were also corroded, but functional, if cruddy.This kit was reasonably priced and did the trick. The pieces seem well-made and the heat tents in particular seemed thicker than the factory tents. I took the opportunity after removing the old grill guts to clean the floor of the grill and line it with heavy aluminum foil (poking holes in the foil for the drain/vent slots obviously).PROS: price, fit, quality.CONS: screws holding crossovers would not tighten completely, heat tents could be a couple millimeters longer.TIPS: the hardware inside the pit will be heat-weakened and cruddy. Expect to replace cotter pins holding the far side of the gas tubes and the screws holding the igniter, if you have one. The crossovers come with screws and washers, but as noted above, they need to be a little bigger so if you're going to move your grill much like taking it camping/tailgating, I'd get screws that tighten.

A reasonable way to extend the life of the grill. The parts fit, and they will burn out over time, but they all do. My originals lasted three + years. The spacers are hard to install as stated in the instructions. I found them impossible to install. The heat treating of the burners, make it hard to use the screws. If you try to drill them out a little, the hole is too big, and the screws won't bite. I installed w/o spacers and find the burners to be stable enough.

We couldn't afford to purchase a new grill, so gave this kit a try. PERFECT!! Easy assembly and our grill works like new.
