Love in the Sun DVD

This movie is both corny and romantic. While some of it is "Hallmark Story book" there is a very entertaining element which makes it a worth while watch. Certainly the love interest from kids to adulthood is enjoyable. My recommendation is watch this movie you will like it.

Good plot actors did a good job but didn't really draw me in. For that reason I grade it as a B

I liked it but something was missing.

This is the story of a girl who left her hometown and boyfriend in Florida to attend college in Chicago. Ten years later, she is the creator of a dating app in Chicago and she has a new fiancee. She goes home to Florida for a short visit, but ends up staying to help her widowed father who owns a hotel but needs to get it in shape to re-open. While she is there, she meets her ex-boyfriend again. This is one of those stories about someone who left home to pursue and exciting life but goes home and finds out maybe it wasn't so bad.This story seemed promising and it was filmed in a nice location in Florida. Unfortunately, it was very bland. There were a number of scenes that stretched credulity even more than normal for a Hallmark film. Also, there was not much chemistry at all between the main characters. The guy seemed more like a stalker than a best friend. This is one of those Hallmark movies that just doesn't quite come together into anything very interesting. The movie is watchable, but it seems like the same story you have seen a hundred times without memorable performances by anyone. I wouldn't necessarily call it a dud, but it's certainly not a classic either.

Was a very good movie...makes me wish vacation would hurry up and get here.

Let's not even pretend I didn't buy a physical copy of this movie because it stars Emeraude Toubia. 😍

This was described as a comedy. Not so. It is really a sweet story of young love and friendship...finding what really matters in a relationship. Enjoyed this story.
