Eaton 294V 15 Amp 120V Combination 3-Way Switch & Pilot Light, Ivory

I bought this switch/pilot light combo to use for two unrelated circuits: the three-wire switch to control a light in a stairway, and the pilot light to indicate if the attic lights were on. The device works as intended: after I broke off the breakaway tab, the switch and pilot light are two independently wired components in one package.However, Eaton could have done a better job of indicating that the instruction sheet covers nine different devices, some of which can be wired into two or three configurations. Once you eliminate the nineteen applications that don't apply to you, the instructions are good. I simply ignored the External Jumper they showed as a dashed line, and I wired the pilot light in parallel with the attic lights.

You may need a some understanding of electrical wiring to install, but I figured it out without killing myself. the only reason I dropped it a star is because, no matter how long I searched, it didn't come in white. Would have been nice

works great delivered on time too bad it does not come in white. Great replacement to a broken switch that served me well. Easy to install just replace wire location (screw on side) with the screw on switch. No special tools needed just a screw driver.

No Reason For The High Price!! IT"S A LIGHT SWITCH!!!

Switch is very noisy, prior switch was silent, this one makes a significant clunk when operated, would not be good for a quiet space.

reasonably priced ... haven't installed it yet but reviewers were impressed with the red light which signals whether there is power to the circuit- the most important feature of this switch.
