Additionally, you cannot have anything blocking it's ultrasonic range for this is crucial for the product to be able to function, and effectively deflect/detour critters, however I'm sure it won't take much effort to briefly notate mentally exactly where your various outlets are placed. If you're in a bedroom, living room, dining room, basically anywhere but your bathroom or your kitchen, chances are your outlets are about 18-24" above your floors surface... Err... kind of where like maybe a lot of stuff goes!? That might say block the "ultrasonic waves" of repulsion!?That being said I will also attest to my thoroughness to counteract any of These listed shortcomings, as I purchased about 12 of these to cover the space in one bedroom, one tiny hallway, kitchen and one bathroom area. I pretty much doubled the recommended devices, just to be safe. In my particular circumstance I lived in the sub basement level of my apartment complex that had become infested with cockroaches, not just my unit but the entire building. That's what happens when property Management changes hands and you get slumlords to take over your lease. Anyway, I digress. Fast forward to 3 months later let me tell you that the only thing that worked in an environment such as this was a contract with orkin and moving the f*** out. We are now pest free and it has nothing to do with this absolute gimmick of a product taking advantage of desperate people looking for any way to alleviate the pure hell that can come with these types of problems while simultaneously taking up one of your f****** outlets!Nope, When it comes down to it it cost us $88 a month to have orkin come out here and make sure that nothing can take hold in the one place that's supposed to be your sanctuary., All these products are doing is just draining your bank account, and taking up space. Trust me, save your money and higher pest control and if you're an apartment f****** move.Written after 3 weeks of use: Maybe I haven't given this enough time, I can't stress enough how desperately I wanted and needed this product to work but so far it's doing nothing. I live in an apartment complex on the sub basement level and when we moved in it was owned by one company, a company that routinely came out every couple of weeks and sprayed for pests, that was last summer and I never noticed a big bug problem, since then the ownership has changed hands and with this summer came the roaches. I'm completely aware of the irrationality in this, but I can't control it, I have a phobia of them, I can't deal with them on a cellular level. It's dibilitating and it's a living nightmare for me. It's not just our unit it's all of the entire building, I've submitted over a dozen maintenance requests that all go left ignored. WEVE PURCHASED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS worth of insecticides both claiming to kill on contact and stunt the ability to reproduce and yes that has made somewhat of a difference, but I still see dozens DOZENS every day. Baby ones, adelescent ones, bigger ones, German and Domestic. Sometimes the adelescent ones do appear deformed and that's good but other times they look what their version of normal is. I'm at my wit's end. We spray one kind of spray one week then interchange to the other as directed. I've purchased a steam mop that was over $200 and steamed my entire apartment from top to bottom, I've had professional cleaning people come and do a deep clean, another $260 and still... I haven't showered at home for over 2 months! I get hotel rooms locally every 3-4 days and that cost has racked up in the $1500.00 range because that's how affected I am by these things. I can't sleep without a full blown hoodie zipped and tied up so there's no peephole or nothing, tight yoga pants, long sleeve shirt, socks, and gloves. I feel like I am going crazy. When I stumbled upon this product I felt like maybe there was some hope, I bought a stronger 2 pack and this 6 unit pack costing me another $140 and plugged the stronger ones both in the tiny kitchen area, then 2 in our very small bathroom, 2 in our bedroom, one in the ity bity hallway and one in the small bedroom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome results *by F***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2022* Bought this to deter mice from coming into our cabin (in the woods so lots of critters). These worked so well that we bought two other packs for our house garage and pole barn. We know they work as they drove the nice out of garage and into my husband's BBQ know we didn't cook that for dinner). We have tried others in the past but no success. I will say there is a blue light when plugged in that someone was sensitive to while sleeping. I told them to suck it up buttercup better than a mouse in your bed..Seriously we just put a small piece of black tape over it.
