Another great Jane Yolen winner! Her poems telling Emily's story are wonderful themselves, let alone the fact that it is a nice introduction for young readers to the poet Emily Dickinson herself.

I bought this product because I'm a fan of the artist Gary Kelly. It was indeed a good read and i learned about the writer emily dickinson. good buy.

The paintings are so lovely and give tribute to Emily.

It is simply incredible, what Jane Yolen has accomplished, with this book! Dickinson becomes less ethereal, more substantive, and more intriguing, all at once somehow. The idea of using sonnets, then having them come to the reader from the varying points of view, is brilliant. I love this book. It has renewed my determination to get to Amherst some day. Gary Kelley, your pictures are just perfect.
