Great Old Testament study

I highly recommend this book. I have been studying the feasts in order to teach through them to my women’s Sunday School class (whenever we may be able to meet again!). This study is by far the best I’ve found. It is both easy to study through and yet deep and profound. I am learning so much. I can see both the mature believer and a beginner benefiting from this study.This 8-week Study is set up so that you do 5 days worth of homework each week. There is a lot of work, but none of it is wasted, it is not “busy work.” The author has done the hard work so that we can reap the benefits. We find how each feast points us to Jesus. Christ is exalted throughout this book! I also love how at the end of each week the author reminds us to use 3 simple questions to think through for ourselves or use in group study: what does this tell us about God, about ourselves, and how should we respond. She also begins this book with the hows and whys of doing Bible study and some background information on the feasts. It is a very thorough study.I’ve not read anything before doing this study by Erin Davis, but I will be looking for more by her!

Erin Davis did not disappoint with this Bible Study. In depth but not overwhelming. Some days I break a lesson into two and can get right back to it the next day - doable for a busy mom! Though knowledgeable of the Bible, I love the connections I am making with this study between the Old & New Testaments.

I love spending time in the OT and learning about Jewish customs and understanding prophecies and how everything points to Jesus and the understanding of why He does what He does. I like that the author spent the time with Jewish Rabbis to learn, too. Highly recommend

I didn’t get that this was written to women until I started reading it, so I wanted to let others know.

This is an amazing Bible study. Erin brings the Old Testament feasts and applies them to my life today. The study is interactive and conversational. Each day’s lesson is a nice length, and has you involved in the study. It is not a short “fluffy” read but rather, she makes you think. I walk away thinking about what I learned throughout my day. I highly recommend this book.

This is very well written with lots of scripture references. Daily homework. A good source of Old Testament history! Christ is all over the pages!
