dissapointing. his style is to over quote and reference other writers/practitioners in a way that suggests he wants us to know how well read he is whilst failing to add to or illustrate the point he is making. I gave up after 20 pages.

Learning to welcome "becoming"
Recently I came across one article written by Manu Bazzano called Empathy for the Devil, and that encouraged me to read Spectre of The Stranger. I'm finding very challenging in my life to be able, willing, courageous enough to step outside - of my identity, of my role, of my suffering, of my story, of my group, of my experience, etc. Also to have confidence to be alone, and from there to open, to face, to welcome the other, the stranger, myself. Manu's book is a great encouragement on the journey, to open to the next moment in the life, to the stranger, and to allow a process of change by the unknown to happen. Wish you enjoy it also.
