Well firstly, there’s lots of it! For good value, it looks nice and while other reviewers complained about the knots, mine was fine.Unfortunately, I couldn’t use it for my intended use as the band was just not stretchy enough. It’s not as stretchy as usual flat elastic band.It is good for little hanging loops, facemasks (as mentioned by many) and I also made some hairbands - just because I had so much spare! It doesn’t fray when cut.

This was far more elastic than I actually required, but I'm glad I went for this one.It feels like soft shoe lace, only elasticated, so really nice to have around the backs of my ears when wearing my face mask.I knocked it down by one star because I spent quite a while untangling the elastic and it turns out it wasn't in one continuous 50 metre length. There were 2 lots of it, so I can only assume it was 2 x 25 metres, but I didn't measure it to know for certain. Not sure if anyone else had this, but there wasn't anything in the information that this is how it would arrive.

Bought this for making masks, of course. It is nice and soft, and super stretchy. When it arrived I decided to wind it onto a board as a few reviewers mentioned tangling issues. I thought it looked fine in the bag it arrived in, took it out and boooom! Instant tangle! I have no idea how it did it as I swear I was super careful! After a bit of palaver it was safely wound up and has been behaving perfectly.

Bought this for making masks, as most people probably are. Would absolutely recommend, very soft and comfortable with a lot of stretch so doesn't pull on the ears, and can also fit a larger range of people if working off a single pattern size. Have made masks for people who have also made their own, and they've commented that this is nicer to wear and looks slightly easier to work with. It's also good value for money compared to other places I was looking!

I read the reviews before buying and someone mentioned that they spent “a while” untangling the elastic. As someone who considers myself to be an expert untangler, I dismissed this information and put it down to amateur untangling skills. I’ve just spent about an hour, swearing and on the verge of tears, attempting to untangle the elastic. So you have been warned. On the plus side, this is great quality and perfect for making masks - I have tried many types of elastic and this is my favourite, soft, comfortable and a true white colour.

Great value for money, feels nice and soft perfect for face masks, but... what a tangle, a suggestion to seller would be, bundle it into 10m lengths, easy to pack and easy for the customer. I’ve got to go now as I’ve got to spend the rest of the day untangling 50m of elastic.

This elastic is perfect for making face masks as it is feels soft to the touch, very strong and has great stretch properties. It is not rough like the 'regular' elastic and although has a good stretch, it is does not have a heavy return feel to it so is great if you are wearing the mask for any length of time. I am very happy with this elastic and will be continuing to buy it in the future.

The elastic is very soft and stretchy and will be absolutely fine for what I have in mind, but.......I thought I was getting a round strip of elastic, as per the wording of the advert. But no matter, it is what it is. A piece of elastic.
