Great new flavor

NuGo Dark Mint Chocolate Chip protein bars are hands down the best tasting protein bars I’ve ever had. They honestly taste more like a candy bar than a typical protein bar, with none of the chalky or artificial aftertaste you get from other brands. They make a great breakfast alternative and keep me satisfied for hours. Perfect for busy mornings when I need something quick but still filling. I keep these stocked and highly recommend them.

I've had these before but decided to go ahead and add them to my subscribe and save because I love the flavor and love that they are GLUTEN FREE! I didn't really look at it prior but once I did I was truly hooked. I love that there's a good amount of protein in them to make for a good snack. The chocolate and mint are a great combination as well as the crispy texture of the bar. It doesn't taste dry because of the chocolate coating, which I love, as most bars that I've tried (that are gluten free) tend to be too dry. It's worth it to buy it in bulk to have on hand for a quick treat. It definitely satisfies my chocolate bar craving!

These real dark chocolate mint chocolate chip bars taste amazing and are so filling! Even though we have had really hot weather, they were packed and shipped in an insulated ice pack so they arrived fresh and perfect. They have zero cholesterol, 2.2mg of iron, 15g sugars, 120g Potassium, 140g Sodium, and 13g of Protein. The 200 Calories per bar make these a perfect snack or desert for when I'm craving something good and decadent. If I'm in a rush but need to eat, I've actually used a Nugo Dark mint chocolate chip bar as a meal replacement and felt well fed and satisfied because it is real food. The other thing I like is that these are Vegan!

Anyone who has eaten anything by NuGo knows why we buy it. The product is fresh, doesn't taste like cardboard, is a decent balance of healthy/calories, etc. This particular flavor isn't overly sweet, has a good amount of peppermint and just the right amount of crunch/chewy ratio. I had to write this review on... the packaging. Yes, LOL, the packaging. Usually I buy these bars at the store, but since I buy so much, I decided to get them here. The box these came in was very sturdy, the contents were wrapped in recycleable material that also helps with temperature control (summer so keeps them cool), AND there is a cold pack that you can then recycle as plant food if you want to. I love that they took so much care to get these to me in good shape!

Let me start off by singing some praises, I used to eat these regularly as a walking home from uni snack. They aren't that filling but they are good when you are looking for some fast calories and protein. I am not a fan of the seed oils, who is right, but otherwise the flavor was always good and while I don't eat them anymore I cant complain about them considering I would eat nothing but these some days. They are a great traveling snack whether you're on foot or going by plane. Its not a must have but it pretty decent.

Delicious, hands down best protein bar in chocolate mint I've ever had. I lost 47 lbs last year and I keep these on hand.

A bit dry, but unlike so many other protein bars, these don't get stuck to dental work. The chocolate enrobing makes these palatable as well.

Instead of a bar of chocolate, I keep one of these in my purse, one in my art bag, and one in the glove compartment, for when hunger strikes. However bearing in mind that women should consume no more than 6 teaspoons (25 grams, or 100 calories) per day, and 15 grams is approx. 3.6 tsp, one bar comprises a worrying 60% of my daily ration! And there's only 2 grams of fibre, and fibre can slow the absorption of sugar and help improve blood sugar levels. The 13 grams of protein is good news though. In fact with a little juggling of ingredients, it seems the manufacturers could make this an even more irresistible bar!

These are my favourite go-to snack/meal. I follow a plan where I eat 5-6 times per day but I am still trying to keep my overall calorie count reasonable so this 200 calorie grab-and-go is a great solution (and delicious). These are low glycemic and sweetened with tapioca and agave - no need to worry about spiking your blood sugar. They are also made with all natural ingredients (how nice you can pronounce everything in your food!). The other flavours are also great and some have less sugar than this one but for any chocolate mint fiends out there (like me) you'll really enjoy this.

I have been buying these individually for a while at the grocery store, but it's nice to be able to just buy a whole box to keep on hand. These taste amazing if you're a chocolate mint lover!

These are really quite good! I like the flavours , it’s just enough mint & dark chocolate! I like the crispness but wish it had less sugar! It’s a bit overly sweet and has more sugar in it than necessary , I think it’s about 15 g of sugar if I recall? Not the healthiest option out there! About Half that amount would be perfect … the company makes low sugar bars with 3 g but they don’t have mint choc in that flavour … and they almost need a bit more sweet lol Something in the middle would be perfect! Lol but otherwise I really do like these bars .
