T.L.D.R Review.- Solid good odour free wood.- Allen Key too good for screws so be careful it may round off the screws if you don't insert it correctly.- Instructions almost to simple to be informative, but if you know what a bed should look like you can follow it.- Good communication from company to query contact details and ease of access for delivery.- Solid construction that a 18 year old now uses with no issues.- 18 year old daughter put it all together with zero help and she is not an engineering student or an Ikea employee.Main Review.~~~~~~~~~~Package arrived in a sturdy single heavy box.My daughter wanted to put it all together with no help as she likes a challenge.I was worried at this due to some peoples reviews saying that you need woodworking skills and an array of tools.As it turned out I shouldn't have been worried.My daughter is not an engineering student or an employee of Ikea. She said after that "the instructions are not the best but she has seen a lot worse. If you know what the bed should look like then you will find it easy."She did say that the allen key was made of a harder material than the screws so she had to be careful after nearly rounding out one of the screws.It took half a day to put together. I think if she had help it would have been less time.Once it was all put together it was surprisingly sturdy and doesn't rock around like a ship on the high seas when she climbs up it to get in.There is a line on the bunk part showing max recommended depth of the mattress.So check this before you buy a mattress.Unless you are buying a super deep multilevel sprung matress that is worth more than the bed I think you will be ok.The wood had no bad chemical odours. Was all smooth to feel. Which is good if you wanted to paint it I guess.Plenty of room under the bed for a good size desk that my daughter now has 2 monitors on and her PC. As well as her office chair and an 80cm wide 4 draw set for her art supplies.USB led lights have been installed under the bed to help with illumination and a decorative curtain across the front.So enjoy making the bed look special with your childs personal tastes.

I had to buy a bed quickly on a very tight budget as my daughter had broken her old one. I couldn't believe the price of these and was expecting very low quality that would just be a stop gap until I could afford better. I was very wrong. The quality is the best I have ever seen in a flat pack bed. The instructions had actual step by step photographs and the bed is very sturdy. Delivery was also fast. I'd highly recommend.

ok, lets start with the positives.the bed is amazing value for money, solid, safe and my 8 year old girl loves her new high sleeper.product arrived earlier than expected plus had really good communication from the customer service team with regard to tracking too.now, my wife jokingly said "oh look, they will build it for £50 as well"! i said how ridiculous, can't be that hard right?how wrong can one man be.the instructions on the face of it are straight forward with everything color coded, this should be a breeze we thought.actually it was the most difficult thing we have ever done.unhelpful instructions, misleading pictures and references, totally relying on our own common sence to finish the bed in a time just short of 5 hours, said it should maybe take around 2.honestly for such a brilliant product, the assembly left me creating whole new combinations of naughty phrases that i have never used before.if you buy one of these, do spend the extra and have someone else do it for you.i know like me you may read this like i red other peoples and think, what is he talking about, can't be that hard?believe me, we are a flat pack family and this has been our biggest challenge to date.anyway, it gets a 3 from me, would have been a solid 5 if it didn't take my entire life force to build.

The instructions are not easily understood. There are few small but crucial items were missed from the package hiwever customer service are very helpful and sent me the items nevertheless it has delayed me from completing assembly of the bed for few days. The bed is really sturdy, not squeaky, and strong enough to bear me with my weight of 92 kg despite I bought it for my 12 years old but slim daughter. My daughter was happy with it as it has given her more space for her small room.

This bed is amazing!! Sturdy! Solid wood! And Amazing price. But my good the instructions mash your brain! Just write step by step instructions with bullet point important bits! The rubbish wrote in that paper is too much 😩🤣

If you value your child's life, your time and money do not buy this bed. Cheap materials, nothing fits where it should , extremely wobbly. Can't see it lasting very long and I shall take great delight at smashing it up to take to the dump. Wall fixtures are useless unless the bed is flush to the wall and you have no skirting board. Looks awful. TOTAL PIECE OF RUBBISH

This bed is solid. Properly solid. It isn’t the easiest to put together, but the instructions are clear and excellent. You need 2 of you ideally, because it’s not cheap flat pack. But the hard work is worth it. Great quality item.

It was ok to assemble but I recommend two people.
