Do you have to drink water with this gel like you do with Gu?

Definitely you should! If you are carrying you water with you then just 3 sips should do it, otherwise in a race wait until you see a hydration station. If you don't drink water, you will feel thirsty within minutes. You do need more water with GU and cliff shots.

Does this coagulate in freezing temperatures? I’m hunting in 10 degree weather and need something that won’t go solid.

I’ve run in 10 degree weather and used these for fuel. You have to keep them in an interior pocket and they’re fine. A little thicker than usual but not a frozen stinger pop

Good taste and great boost

I enjoy the flavor of these and the little caffeine boost they provide. These have worked for me as my runs get longer or I do an earlier run but didn't get enough sleep the night before. I'll continue to buy this brand and flavor.

Amazing for Athletes and Non-Athletes

Amazing!!! Honey Stinger has another great product. The ingredients is all natural with added 32mgs of caffeine is just what athletes need. Thats less caffeine than a can of 12oz can of Coca-Cola 34mgs , Pepsi 38mgs , and Dr Pepper 41-42mgs.

A good GU alternative

Overall satisfactory. After being a lifelong GU customer, their continuous price increases ($32 to $48 in a year for a 24 pack…wut???) led me to seek out alternatives. The flavor is good, albeit somewhat artificial/medicinal and it’s a lighter viscosity than most other gels, which aids in absorption. The packet is also easier to open on the go so added bonus there. Worth checking out!
