Handsome Jar used to store my decaffeinated coffee.

For once, I decided to spend a little more money on some nice tea/coffee/sugar caddies and unfortunately it has not paid off. Although they are a little larger than I expected and very lightweight, that was not a huge problem. The main problem is that I am not convinced that they are airtight. Firstly not all the lids fit the same but they don't interchange so they are definitely made per cannister. The coffee cannister is the worst. I usually store my coffee in the jar the coffee comes in, no problem but in this cannister, the coffee has changed colour and has started clumping together so I can only assume the cannister is not airtight. I couldn't send them back as I am now out of the return time so my advice would be not to bother spending your money on these unfortunately.

This product works well, the lid is easy to get off but provides a good seal..The metal and finish are nice, we got 2 coffee canisters as a his and hers setup, we both like different strength coffee grounds in an Americano and latte respectively.

The first arrived with dents. The replacement is virtually impossible to fit or remove the lid as the seal keeps distorting.Not happy. Returning all 4 items in the set

Great stylish canisters

The jar itself is nice, the problem is in the lid which is really hard to open. I would not describe myself as a wimp but this jar really required effort to open, some people may struggle. The seal is provided by what is by a silicone band around the edge of the lid which is largely held on by friction. This seal keeps coming off, meaning I need to stretch it back around the lid every time I make a coffee, which whilst possible, is not a really easy two second task especially before I have had my coffee. In short 5* for the jar 0* for the lid.
